A couple of days before arrival I contacted the hotel by email for information, which I received by return email. On check-in date, I arrived early, 9h00 am, but was checked-in immediately. The employee provided some folders of the city, and was very helpful. The room was perfect, with a nice view to the polybahn. Every day the room was cleaned and clean towels were provided. On check-out day I could leave my luggage in storage at the hotel, as I checked out very early. THANK YOU hotel staff.
all reviews » The closeness to the railwaystation and the old town is nr 1. Rooms ok but decoration a bit worn. Bathroom very clean. Breakfast (at extra cost) quite adequate. Nice and comfy Weinstube on the ground floor (closed on Sundays) with typical food. It is located right next to the train station (just across the bridge) and next to a great shopping alley at the head of the old town. The location is the best thing about it! It is one of the best values considering Zurich's expensive nature. Terrific location just a few minutes walk from the train station, and the #10 tram to the airport stops right outside. The front desk is staffed 24 hours which was really helpful for an early departure. very centrally located. easy for getting around as the train as well as trams are in the vicinity. rooms basic but toilets are good and clean.free wifi in the lounge. Close to the station near a little shopping street with nice restaurants...It had all I needed for just one night and an early departure for Zurich airport. You won't find a cheaper hotel with the facilities this hotel provides. the wifi didnt work in the room but there was a very comfortable lounge room with sofas, desks and chairs that you could have access on the internet. Had to go to the lobby/ground floor to use the computer. My room did not have a flat TV . The hotel was really loud, given its location right in the busiest section of downtown Zurich. The price is too high as very basic hotel facilities. The bed was in a poor condition.
