The staff was very friendly and nice, even though there was a small mix up regarding whether we were staying in Lucerne or Zurich. When we arrived, they came quickly to meet us at the apartment. The person who let us into the apartment carried our luggage up three flights and spent time giving us information about the trains, etc. The apartment is in a great location, and it gives you the feel of really living in Zurich. I would recommend getting a Sim Card for your i-phone when you arrive, so .
all reviews » This was a great apartment for a visit to Zurich with friends. The location is perfect. The apartment is a very short walk away to main train station and the Bahnhofstrasse, and is located in the middle of the Niederdorf area. Tons of bars and restaurants nearby. The apartment was very clean (I would expect nothing less in Switzerland!) and the staff was on time in meeting us to give us the key. There is no front desk and no on-site parking, but the staff is accessible via phone and there . Large, comfortable apartment with excellent facilites. Great location close to the city centre, railway station and easy walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. The stairs to the top floor were testing to begin with but we soon got used to these. We felt like we were locals staying here. Lovely, helpful people running the apartment and free WiFi. We would love to stay here again. We loved staying in a building that was built in 1357 in a little lane in central Zurich. It is nicely finished, comfortable and compact. It is on the third floor and the young man that met us took our bags up. I like the location, the user friendly access to the Hotel, extremely professional handling by Hitrental.com, in close vicinity of main Zurich train station. The list is endless. There was a layer of dust under the bed, but overall, a pretty clean studio apartment and they provided dishes, pans, a coffee maker, sheets and towels. Cooking at the apartment is helpful since the prices are high in Switzerland. There is not laundry in the apartment. We had to purchase our own toilet paper since only two rolls were provided. There are restaurants below the apartment with outdoor seating. Thus, on the weekends it can be a bit noisy. Being in the centre means noise from the restaurants below in summer but that is part of being in the thick of it. My apartment was at the fourth floor, and there is no life bee were four adults and really faced great difficulty in taking the luggage up an down on narrow stairs. Also, there was no notification on how to use the kitchen gadget. The display was also not in English language. It was a major set back for us. Please correct this with immediate effect. If there was wardrobe in the up room it would be more than perfect:). - Walls are thin and there's a pub downstairs. It gets noisy during weekends. Sleeping can be a problem. - No elevator. Narrow stairs to walk up/down with luggage. very noisy at night, door ansaphone kept getting rung during 1 night. The stair. Low ceiling in the garret. A bit of a noisy area. small stairs no fire exit no parking space. It was very difficult to find because the building didn't have a street number. The key exchange could have been more personal not just taped to the bottom of an ash tray.
