The room was exactly what we were looking for. Modern and comfortable beds for 3 friends in need of a single room with 3 beds for one night. It was very close to the main train station which is exactly what we were looking for because we had an early train to catch the next morning. The apartment was perfect for us. It was near the station and the centre of Zurich. We stayed for just the night since we arrived early evening and had an early morning train to catch. The shower was fantastic and the bed comfy. It's all we needed.

Close to the main train station and the old town, which is ideal for walks through all the shops and other Zurich entertainment. Clean, modern and good cooking facilities. Location is perfect, staff (located in the video store next door) were very helpful and also had storage room. The flat is clean and has everything you need. Extremely close to the train station and in the old town. Great deal for an inexpensive, close and clean hotel. Great restaurant next door also. Good point - there is also a small kitchen, very helpful. It was hot summer, but the nice table fan saved us. I very well recommend it. The stairs were tricky with big luggage, but we knew that would be the case. Rooms were quite small for 3 adults. Room lacked power points. Having to negotiate past the rubbish bags in the access passage was off-putting. Bad point - Our room was on 4th floor and unfortunately there are no lifts, my mother had a bad time climbing up the stairs... No lift,No reception for 24 hours,. No lift facilities in the hotel and loud noise from Pubs downstairs. No Air Cooling for hot days. the 4 floors of stair climbing with luggage. Cramped stairs. perfect!. Very noisy at night. Nothing negative to say, it was great. No lift and no air condition. Nothing. Internet was blocked. no kettle. None. no wifi. Climbing the stair case with luggage is very tough. Washing machine should locate at lower floor. Too much smoke it got into everything including clean washing. The building access was clogged with laundry on each stay which made moving luggage very difficult. No lift. The rooms lacked working power points in one room there was only one available. On our second stay rubbish was the previous tennants had not been removed. There was no electric kettle available in the kitchenettes so boiling water for tea and coffee was via a pot on the stove. The heater in one bathroom was permanently on. No staff around. Have to pick up key from nearby video store. No lift so luggage needs to be carried up stairs. Be aware of near by bar (cuban bar i think) where the waitress gave us change for 10chf when we gave her 50chf, she would not give us our money and probably does this to tourists knowing we are unfamiliar with the currency. Late check-in and early check-out. There were bed bugs, and I have numerous bites from them. Check-in time is quite late and it was quite difficult as there is nowhere to leave luggage if arriving early. no functioning plugs in the room. no coffee - maker!. The value compared with the offer service is over !!. Bad way of check-in. They don't have cash voucher. Citystudios Central has not elevator. It was very inconvenient for us to carry our luggage to upstairs.According, their price are some expensive. It's extremely basic. Beds and mattresses of poor quality and worse of all I gotten bitten by bed bugs- there were no mattress covers used. For this reason would not return and cannot recommend. Room was relatively small and no lift. there wasnt shampoo in the bathroom and housekeeping was bad. Cost of taxi to get there from the airport. No light in bathroom didnt feel welcoming Pillows were non existant. A lot of huge packs at the entrance preventing us to get in the hotel. This situation lasted within our stay. Hell smell!. No lift. Wifi wasn't working and no manager around to get it fixed. Reception was at video store next door. No city map available. People were constantly smoking downstairs so we couldn't breathe fresh air with open windows.
