Easy walking distance from the station and lots of nice places to eat nearby. River view pretty good! Excellent service, nice breakfast and small bar downstairs for evening drinks / coffee overlooking the river. Rooms were small but perfectly formed and very clean. Very good location. The room was much funkier and new than I expected. Had everything we needed - even some yummy sweets by the bed for free :) Breakfast about average by European standards. It was available during Zurich Fest at relatively late notice!.

Although an old building, the renovation has been well done with wood floors and new bathroom plus loved the grey walls. Hotel Limmatblick is a small boutique hotel, extremely clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good for short stay, set in a fantastic location, would definitely stay here again. Hotel is located right on Limmat river next to the train central station, very close to all places to visit in Zurich. We were probably lucky to get a room with a view to the river. Super location, 5 min walk from train station, river view from many rooms; convenient combo restaurant, bar and reception on first floor; surprisingly quiet rooms given location. Great location with room looking over the lake! Very close to main train station and trams! Pleasant bar and breakfast room downstairs provided a good view as well. Best location close to all major city scenes and shopping street, and a few minutes walk to main train station. Strongly recommend to all couples visiting Zurich. This is no fault of the hotel, as its just a case of location during the festival, but one of the bands was immediately at the front door so very, very loud until 4am :) This is just the price you pay to be central during a festival that only happens once every three years, and not something we had thought about! Also be aware there is no air conditioning, but there is a little fan to give a bit of breeze. If there was no concert on outside it would also be fine to open the window!. duvet and pillows were a bit old and dusty. Noise from bar next door is a bit loud but fortunately they ended early in the evening. Hotel does not have any parking place and public parking is quite expensive. At breakfast there were re- heated rolls rather than an assortedment of the wonderful Swiss bread and bread rolls. Nothing. A bar fridge would have been good to have in the room. Noisy at night as there is a bar next to the hotel that stays open until 2:00 am This hotel is expensive for what you get, but expensive simply defines Zurich. Almost no lobby! Still payed for all the booked nights. The water was off in one of the mornings for almost one hour and the cleaning lady entered the room when the sign "do not disturb" was on the door. So keep an eye!. Everything in Zurick is too expensive. My room was too small! I got a view from the river room, but nothing that much... almost no water from the tap, should be repaired (shower OK however), shower bottom very small and curved - dangerous for older people, rooms at backside noisy at night (noise until 4 am at Niederdorfer Strasse). Very loud, stres , and neighbour guests. We were supposed to have a room with a river view and did not get it. Breakfast did not have many choices. It is very noisy. Because my stay day was hold the festival. We did not sleep. Room very small for three people. Location was along the river and noisy. The room was so very small. There was no air conditioning and the temperature was in the low 90s. My husband and I slept with the windows wide open with no covers on. We were within 2 feet of the next building and could see the man next door brushing his teeth. Because the windows were open, the street noise and people at cafe's kept us up most of the night. tiny hotel. with limited staff. Although very well located, the hotel does not have air conditioning and because it was so hot, if I would open the window I could not sleep with the noise coming from the busiest street where the hotel is located and where most of restaurants and bards are located. Very dark rooms, with little light, not comfortable to stay in. EXTREMELLY expensive for what it is, so never again.
