Very convenient to the Hauptbahnhof and a short walk to the Bahnhofstrasse. Also close to the Niederdorf without all of the noise. Our 4 nights there were great!. I liked my stay; good hotel, excellent location, clean room, very nice breakfast buffet.Great location and all non-smoking. Good value for what we paid. Clean, comfortable and close to the railway station.

A more effective AC system would have been good.Not easy to locate - the directions given are somewhat confusing. No AC in the rooms, which makes it difficult on a warm summer night. And while the hotel facilities and service is excellent, the surroundings are a little noisy in the evenings. . Keep in mind possible noise from street nigth life in weekends. Also breakfast seems poor even for European hotels.due to the Euro2008 Cup the hotel price through booking.com was even higher than the rack rate as published in the hotel..... The only thing that I did not like was the tub-shower. I thought it was designed in such a way to increase the likelihood of people tripping and falling and hurting themselves.Only, one old staff front desk I think has been working in the Hotel forlong time, is not friendly and rude. Nothing, but appreciate if the hotel could provide internet access for free. No free wi-fi connection. You should go downstears to the reception to get paid access code. It's strange that they cannot provide it for free. No electric kettle and tea and cofee bags in hotel room. Breakfast was not that good. no privat parking only public very expansive nearby/ not for car holders. Noise from outside as like fresh air so did not shut window. We came down for breakfast around 9am to a buffet that was not beingrestocked. There wasn't much selection.I was on the top floor (4th) and there was a sky light. I couldn't work the shade and was awoken at 4:45am when it was bright out. I would have asked, but I arrived very late previous evening and I was there only 1 night. Also, the room was a bit hot and when you open the window, you can smell the next people smoking and talking. The beds were really hawful /sofa-bed ans also real bed) We wonder if the lady (quite old) at the reception was new, cause she seems a little bite lost.......... . The hotel rooms are not aur conditioned. Yes, please have a bread toaster.wireless internet connection was not good, and still had to pay for it. Rather small room.Noise from the street sometimes. Young girl on the reception desk was very unfrendly room was very small. My non-smoking room had a very bad stale cigarette smell. no airconditioning. Expensive wifi access 15 swiss francs an 15 minutes!.
