The front office staff are an epitome of professional service...They work very hard to cater to every small requirement...they not only offered to look after our luggage for a day after check-out they called in a cab, served us coffee while waiting for the cab to arrive, inviting us again to stay with them, giving us all information of the best way to spend time, shopping, travel while at HK. We (my wife and I) go to HK once a year...this place is the best! Location: Can't get a better place fo.
all reviews » The staff were extremely friendly and English was great. The hotel room was very comfortable furnished brilliantly large Screen which I plugged my Apple TV in to. Shower was 10 out of 10. Food was brilliant I am from England and thought the Breakfast was lovely, I had the american break but was just like an english break, hash brown, sausage (which was good!) bacon beans (they must of been heinz!) Scrambled egg! Hotel organised a Taxi for me no problem, Hotel was perfect location to walk everyw. Big surprise at checkout. letsbookhotel.com did not include the nightly tax in the reservation quote. I booked other lodgings with letsbookhotel.com on the same trip and the taxes were referenced and included in the quote. Sure, It was mentioned in the fine print, but c'mon letsbookhotel.com...put it in the price quote and let me know what I can expect to pay. Seems like a bait/switch tactic. I shouldn't be surprised at checkout. From arrival the service was excellent, the hotel is smart and has nice atmosphere, they have free wine and snacks each afternoon to let guests mingle, rooms spacious and nice lighting, no noise even if its right on a main road, very quiet, liked the added touches of a golf putting green and playstation in the room. Really good place will stay here a lot now. Great room service food, fast and tasty. 10/10. Great location for the Wan Chai star ferry terminal.... Great for Wan Chai subway & tram stops .... We stayed for a 7 night vacation ... Room was small but plenty comfortable for 2 adults and was cleaned and turned down every day..... Fleming is all you need for 4 star at a 2 star price. A bit high on the price, but I suppose it's fair given the great location (a block from Wan Chai station, and subway is world class, so it's easy to get anywhere you need to go). A bit small, but if you're out and about traveling or working, not an issue. Single room is still more than enough for 2 people. The bed was hard. The lobby is not a place to get comfortable and meet anyone. The street presence is pretty poor. nothing. - hot water ran out on a few occasions. If I were to make a couple of requests, it would be to have a fitness facility or access, free or for a modest fee, to one in the neighborhood. A little more help getting taxis would be good, though we managed ok. No possibilities to sport. Water pressure in shower not very strong. I'm struggling to find anything bad to say!. arconditioning is quite loud, for the rest everything is very good. Bed was a bit hard for what I am used to. Perhaps the double bed is a bit small for two people. They should consider having a king-size option. No options of floor of the room, minuscule lift and just fit for purpose buffet breakfast. No Gym. Really nit picking here. Could have used a couple more towels in the bathroom. I couldn't stay longer. Haha. Gym was under construction. Had some problem locating the hotel. No signage from main road & junction. Retailers nearby do not know the hotel. Taxi had difficulty looking for hotel too. Bed was a bit hard. Slight smell in bathroom but not overwhelming. Location is a bit difficult to find as some taxis overshoot the hotel as it is located beside an overpass. The location wasn't great. None. Absolutely nothing!. The bathroom had very little space for leaving things. Nothing in particular which I did not like, but nothing particularly exciting too. No pool. Breakfast was just average but there are lots of places to eat close by anyway. slow elevators hard beds. The cafe where we had our breakfast was dim. Should draw the curtains to let the light in. Room was a bit small for the price. The discharge of water into the tray in the shower was too slow, I had my feet in the dirty water.
