The splendour of the hotel - it was beautiful. Everything from the grand entrance & foyer to the sumptous breakfasts with incredible range of choices. The best hotel I have ever stayed in - bar none!! The location was also great - overlooking Victoria Harbour across to Kowloon. Staff and service were immaculate - literally think you need help and someone asks if they can assist you before the words leave your mouth. Renovated room was lovely as was spa and gym facilities. Breakfasts were amazing as were the Harbour views from our 24th floor.

Building work outside, the sooner the work is completed the better. did not get exactly the room I booked and was expecting...but was OK. Renovation works during my stay from 10:00 to 17:00. The refurbishments taking place. But for the ups on a new room to the downs that rooms need to be renewed!!. Weather at this time...too cloudy. the renovation noise. i paid the deposit in cash , and they refuse to return my money in cash ! only to the credit card which may take a month. Everything about the hotel was excellent, however I think it is overpriced. The hotel is very old, should doing renovation. I got very bad experience bcause I got ill and I was 3 days in the hotel onlyand when we wanted to call doctor for checkup they asked us for hk$2000 for visit. Too pricy. the check in, it is always a problem, so slow and complicated, it is a moment I really dislike when arriving at Grand Hyatt the queue at taxi, always. The hotel is not close to the subway station & any stores. Not convenient to go out to anywhere. Dated rooms in need of renovation. Club not worth the extra - and not on par with other hotels in category. Room a little small Construction going on in front of the hotel, not sure if it will onscure the harbour views? Concierge services a little variable. They changed the room and rate on me, from the one booked. Gave me a more expensive room at $400 per day. Please ask them to refund the extra rent.
