  We loved our luxury stay in what we considered to be a world class hotel. The staff in all areas were helpful and welcoming. The breakfasts were quite simply the best we have ever experienced and the pool area was fantastic. A room upgrade was really worth the bit extra because it provided access to the club lounge (complimentary drinks and buffet... what people say » ) which is a great place to relax and take in the views. Check your map first and be careful of the traffic but we considered it an easy walk to cross - The room is spacious. The hotel is located in the westlake district, so further away from the crowdiness of the Hanoi city centre and it is much more peaceful and relaxing living in this district. Our hotel room is facing the westlake, so the view from the room is great.

  This hotel is relatively new and it shows in the way the rooms look clean and modern. The room has all the mod cons, including free internet in every room but the first room we were in was with a small window. Staffs at this hotel have been well trained, and go out of their way to be accommodating and make sure the guests are happy; nothing seemed... what people say » too much trouble for them. It is also well located as it's on the edge of the old quarter but only 5 minutes from the lake and more peaceful surround - It was a very nice hotel and quiet location yet close to all the main attractions of Hanoi. We found it very relaxing and very friendly. The staffs are very helpful and very polite. Staff at the front desk was particularly helpful. All the staffs made you feel attended to and welcome. The breakfasts were fantastic and the restaurant is excellent, but a bit pricey for Vietnam. We had a great stay and would not hesitate to return or recommend the hotel to fellow travelers.
