  We were there for a night after arriving on a long flight from Australia - I was sooo relieved when we got to the hotel at 9 am and they let us check in as we were completely exhausted!! - Hotel staff made us feel special.   Very convenient for an airport stopover, very close to the airport, with a regular easy to catch free shuttle. I arrived at 8 am not expecting to be able to check in, but had meetings from 10 am so asked if there was somewhere I could clean up and store bags - they checked me into my room straight away, which was fantastic service. Check ou - Rooms were spacious, nicely appointed, updated and very clean. There was a refrigerator in the room. The pool is very nice (hot tub also) and is surrounded by an attractive patio area; it stays open quite late. There are a lot of meeting facilities that are reasonably priced. The staff always accessible, friendly and helpful. There is a Starbucks and three decent restaurants on site.

  It's a typical Hilton. We stayed here for the last two nights of our two week holiday as it was very close to the lax and return car hire depot. Check-in was easy and fast, we used the self parking option, the car park seemed to always be quite full, we had to drive down to level 5 or 6 every day, this option was $25 a day.   We love the friendly atmosphere and the references to early Hollywood films and actors! The staff were all friendly and very responsive to our needs and requests. When we needed anything, such as a bathmat or the sink unclogged, they were there immediately!
