The room was spacious ( 3rd level handicap accessible rooms) with a patio. Room 355 and 353. We were next to the pool and gym. The room had rain forest shower heads and very comfortable beds. You can order a complimentary fridge for your room and connect the rooms together with opening an inner door in the rooms. Diverse with a lot of travelers. Close to the airport, complimentary shuttle to pick up and drop off. Large comfortable bed in a large room. Quiet and relaxing stay. Pool area pleasant, staff able to provide advice on what to do in 1 day, taxi right on the door step. Great stay.
all reviews » The staff were welcoming in the early hours of the morning. The beds were incredible. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, especially after a long and delayed flight. I would recommend this hotel to any transit traveller. Entire 'end of vacation stay' was extremely seamless. Everything was perfect - large, comfortable room & bed was welcome! All little touches very accomodating!. Customer Service is excellent, this hotel is our favorite. We spent our honeymoon and have stayed there to catch flights from LAX. So close to LAX but so close to manhattan beach which is a great find and would recommend everyone who is a beach person to visit this beach. Rooms were spacious and clean. Showerhead in the bathroom seemed to be coming lose, but this was simply an aesthetic problem, didn't affect the shower quality at all. I didn't like the $25 parking fee, or the fee for Wi-Fi in the room. This was inconvenient for my family. It would have been nice to have at least a continental breakfast. Weak shower and hot water takes ages to come. Parking was very expensive. Guest parking is simply too expensive. Have to pay for Wifi, Have to pay for the Carpark, No restaurants in walking distance. Wifi is not free while other hotel offer free. Carpark fee $25 where other hotel didn't charge for parking. The plain entrance was congested. The little vent window had a broken hinge. After I managed to print out my confirm reservation thru letsbookhotel.com, than only they admitted that they had over-booked and offer me a twin room with breakfast. omg!!. the pillows were to puffy which led to a neck ache, they wouldn't squish down so I didn't sleep at all. nothing to say here. Charge for wifi access. The main restaurant get closed at 10.00pm. A tourist after day long prog if comes backs to the hotel after 10pm, have to go out again for food. This is very bad. The restaurant should open at least up to 12 midnight. The toilet whistle when it was flushed. We found cloth of other people in the room. One thing I want to say is booking processing. I'm not sure whose fault. But, my name was not in check-in list when I checked in. I should call letsbookhotel.com twice and wait almost one hour to confirm. I have not gotten my credit for my first reservation from letsbookhotel.com that got lost and fever made till I called followed up on it ant then was put in. I end up making a second booking at this hotel. no free internet. Had to pay for parking Had to pay for internet No soap in women's restroom at the gym Would have liked more weight machines at gym Food was overpriced Not enough mirrors in the workout room. - poor service (long line & unprofessional staff) at the counter. The bathroom did not have a vent or fan. The area is meant for airport traffic and not a great area for activities. I did not like the fact that I was over charged by several hundred dollars and still have not been refunded. For the amount of money spent on the room I feel parking and WiFi should be included. We will never stay at a Westin Hotel again. For a westin the facilities were disappointing. Bathroom was tight and felt dirty. The room smelled like mildew. The daily grille restaurant located in the hotel was unbelievably poorly run. I just expect more from a westin. Musty smell to room . Bathroom not too clean with previous occupants hairs on the floor . Restaurant for both dinner and breakfast did not live up to our expectations. Way too expensive for that quality of food... No bellboy when check out. spa and gym. No shuttle after 11:30. Had to find my own way there. No check-out time posted WiFi is overpriced and underperforming. Upgrade showers. Maid did not clean our room!!!.
