I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the intercontinental. The staff were amazing and made my stay as comfortable as possible. Luis at the front desk was awesome and helped me arrange my day trips and seeing the sites. I can't compliment him enough for his help! My room was cleaned daily and the hotel offered a complimentary chauffeur service that I used to go to the nearby Westfield shopping centre. I enjoyed the location in being closely to Beverly Hills and not far from Hollywood and Santa Monic.
all reviews » Together with my 3 friends, we stayed at the Intercontinental at Beverly Hills for 4 nights. Every single staff member we came into contact with were so nice & inviting, we were so sad to leave. Complimentary car service within 1.5 miles.... can it get any better than that? We watched an episode of Modern Family being filmed in the lobby, swam in the gorgeous pool, got a manicure at the spa, relaxed int he sauna for a bit and ate a delicious burger in the hotel's restaurant. We did a littl. I loved everything abouit the intercontinental. The staff were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. So nice to relax in the spa and pool after a long day out and about. The starline hop on hop off bus stops right outside, this will take you to santa monica, brentwood and westwood. The other bus stop to Hollywood is in beverly hills near roedo drive. The hotel car will drop guests off anywhere within a mile and a half. Fantastic! I hope to come back one day!. Big fan of the housecar taking us around the town (within 2 miles). The driver, David was very serviceminded, nice and friendly. He did an excellent job taking care of us. Service good especially at the valet parking and cleaning. Rooms big and comfortable. Nothing was really missing. Coffe complimentary in room. Loved the theme of the hotel, the courtesy, the hotel room was up to standard with i expect, and the mall nearby with complimentary transportation to and from is an added bonus, very upscale, quiet surrounding and safe. Location is good. Close to Westfield shopping mall and also Rodeo Drive is five minutes away. Rooms are big enough. Friendly staff. Well it's not anywhere near hollywood, even though avenue of the stars, is probably where the stars live, you hardly see people walking around from the hotel room. This not a family friendly hotel . Especially if you have baby. they dont have any baby blanket or pillow or baby shampoo. just a baby coat without nothing. they just say we dont have it , sorry. And thats enough. they must write this in their web page or letsbookhotel.com. Daily parking fee is also expensive. the hot water in the shower was only warm. Bed toppers did not fit the mattress properly. I didn't like that letsbookhotel.com said it would be $300 a night + taxes and that this hotel charged me $400 for the second night. I also didn't like that they didn't tell me that parking was $40 a day (I could have parked down the street and paid half that) or that internet was $13 a day. Too many add ons and hidden costs for the amount they charge. I complained about the increase in the nightly rate and they basically said "sorry, not our problem". To light the façade, the hotel keeps all balcony lights on all night, so it is never dark in the room and some lights shine right on the beds. If we closed the heavy drapes, there would be no natural light to wake us. Price. The airconditner in the room needs upgrade. It gets quite noisy. Not really possible to walk to restaurants except Westfield centre but not a big issue 33 dollar a day valet needs to be cheaper for people staying at hotel but to be fair we knew this before we booked. The wifi and parking are costly. $39 per night for valet parking and the very noisy air conditioner in the room!. Windows in bedroom were very dirty on the outside which spoilt the view. Water in the room was very expensive. Same bottle in grocery store around the corner was one quarter the price. The bed not comfortable. Beds too smal. Location is a bit remote and not at the centre of Bevelery Hill. Would be nice if shuttle bus can be offered. The room was so hot. Very slow to cool down even with drapes drawn and AC cranked. furnishing in rooms slightly dated and bland. Bland design/Mausoleum feel on ground floor. Too expensive. Bit old, the only restaraunt inside is not way too romantic. small bed. the fact that I made a reservation for 2 adults and 2 childeren, room with breakfast. Then the girl at the reception told me the room is with breakfast for 2 persons?? And she didn't came with a solution for my problem. This is it! Sorry!!. Air conditioner far too noisy; so much so we had to turn it off to sleep!. Bed were too small for 2 (full size) and matress too soft. Wifi too expensive in Room ($13 per day for 2 equipment), Breakfast buffet too expensive ($28 for average food), Vallet parking $33 per day... The furniture is a little old. The bathroom was not up to par. The bathtub was not clean. The carpet in the room was old and bathroom needs to be updated. Elevators are too old. Not caring about your basic needs. It is sad that for that cost even internet poor and expensive. Service needs to be improved. I stayed for 8 nights and there were no complimentary room internet which other hotels that I have stayed which provided when a guest stays for more then 3 nights. There were no complimentary drinks and rooms were not serviced everyday until you advise them. Windows of my room were next to hotel's ventilation systems. The noise was unreasonable. The terrible banging on the door by the housekeeper in early morning (9 am), the extremely expensive valet parking, the location, the price of the room. I will not stay In this hotel again. Location Parking is very expensive Old rooms Far from many famous sites. Room not clean, pull out couch not vacumed underneath false nails on carpet. Hair in shower, stains on chairs. Pull out couch was terriable, and had to call to get room done. Furnitures in room was so old and dirty , gym was so small ,for the hotel that big , $10 for bottle if water , but the coffee was complimentary !! Normally is other way around ... They even didn't bother to send us a cards or bottle of anything for our honeymoon on the house ... rooms hallways.
