Exceptionally polite and friendly service - upgraded to a suite for our anniversary at no extra cost, and given complimentary wine. Brilliant hotel in every way. I got a great deal for a Sunday night stay. Very good hotel, great central location 2 mins walk from the tube. Don't forget to turn left out of the tube. *****. very close to tube station and hyde park. staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel was lovely and clean.

There is a really good pub right next to it called the Swan. Try it! Plus it is really close to the Tube.It has a nice location, I stayed at the royal park suite, the view of the Hyde Park was excelent. not that much. Location. The Hotel is well located for shopping and theatre Breaks in London and for business trips in west and central London. Very Comfortable hotel with good staff. However, the price charged for breakfast is very high even for a capital city, more so in respect of the price charged for Continental breakfast which is silly.Comfortable environment, clean accommodation and convenient location. Delivered what I expected. nice view. location. Some loud mouthed guests in the bar who were drunk and thought everyone else should listen to their swearing and rugby style songs. Other people were obviously irritated as well. I was surprised they were allowed to continue. The guests from overseas made the comment that this was what they hated about London. No pool. Confusion over 12% service tax and tipping. I thought the room was over priced and thought it was of a low standard. It was suppose to be of a superior quality but I would have put it lower than most budget rooms.travelling down from the North we accept that it is Londonl However it is not a good reason to have such a big differential of prices for the most basic of services. Breakfast £20.00.!! Bar Prices !! Room Meals !!. Very poor standard of continental breakfast really not of the standardof a 4 star hotel very poor value would recommend to anyone that theyhave breakfast out of the hotel. Excessive cost of breakfast. No telephone extention on the desk, so you have to jump to the otherside of the bed to reply the phone, some time you canot caught..andmiss calls.hun.... no. We liked each n everything there. niose outside the rooms, slapping door, very small bathroom.small rooms..we asked for something from housekeeping and they never replied if they had it or no... The room was a little small the photo's of the room were somewhat deceptive. The parking cost added a third to the cost of the room.1. I filled in a paper one of these on leaving, so don't know why I've been asked again 2. TV being on permanent standby is environmentally poor. No. We all commented that we were woken by the slamming of doors along the corridor, if the doors had gentle springs then we would not have been woken so early. The hotel is excelent but needs remodeling, it could easely be a five star.They added gratuities to the bill without asking, most annoying!. Not particularly, only the charges for breakfast. If these were more reasonable, a lot more guests would take breakfast rather than room only. This opinion was shared by 3 other couples whom we met at the Hotel during our stay.There were insufficient staff at an obviously busy check-in time and one of the two was clearly just 'helping out' as she seemed to be assisting behind the scenes as well. Hotel had over-committed on double room bookings so I had to have a twin. Breakfast price was extortionate!. High costs of car parking.
