The guy who checked me in was just brilliant. It was dead handy for every where and the price was out of this world. Thank you. went to an awards dinner. The hotel is near Paddington Station and there are many places to eat, exchange money and easy transportation. The room was small but very clean. They changed the towels every day and the room was kept tidy. The electric kettle and the coffee and tea bags were always useful. The maintenance of the room was well done, fixing or changing anything that wasn't working properly.

Due to the early hour of my train, I asked for a taxi at the hotel's counter. But I haven't been advised that it was a special taxi with much more expensive rates. It's better to try for a taxi at the station, it's half the price! And the taxi arrived almost fifteen minutes late. Nothing special, maybe the bedside lamp. Rooms are small but good value for central London. Certain stuff had problems. Sink, Telephone, etc.The bed was very hard. payment procedure when booking for thirdparty is embarresing as they won't accept payment over phone even although under your comments section we has specificaly asked for payment to be taken and have sent fax and emails requesing this.Rooms are small, no AC, windows are not safe for kids. the beds. small singles with horrible old sheets. Noisy ventilator in bathroom running all night, welcome by bug inbathroom was funny. However no more bugs appears through later stay. the phones did not work in our room. As to Sussex gardens it is very noisy all night. Not enough coffee and creamer sachets in my room. Rooms are pretty small, a bit cold and noisy at the front. Ran out of hot water after 1 shower!!. Breakfast was cold and not as complete as menu suggested. After ordering a full cooked breakfast we both did not eat more than 10% of the plate as beans and egg had no heat in them at all and consequently refused to pay for it. Also a dirty tea spoon had clearly been used prior This is the first time I have ever refused to pay for food and did not like protesting, the staff did offer to re-heat. Unfortunately I was very badly bitten by bed mites whilst staying there, so although in general it was good value for money I would never book it again. small and old room. very small bedroom and very very small bathroom. This hotel had bed bugs not just a few but masses, when asked about moving they immediately moved us and said they knew that room had bugs yet they put us in it. Found bugs in the next room and they got in our luggage. Don't stay there!!!!.
