The reception was very accommodating. The room was quite small for 4 persons but very neat and manageable. Fixtures were in excellent condition. we have stayed in elysee hotel about 9 times and have always found it to be excellent in all ways even before it was refurbished. our room was excellent, quite roomy for four people, the staff were more than helpful and pleasant.

The lift was out of use and room on 4th floor, although there was the offer for bags to be carried up by staff. room was small...Room very cramped. Very poor tea/coffee supplies which were not replenished next day (guests want more than one cup of tea/coffee when they stay!). Size of the rooms extremely small, but it seems typical for that kind of hotels in London. Not well maintained drainage in shower, and getting hot water takes 5 minutes or so. Bit overpriced for what is offered.when we arrived we were told our room would be ready in half hour. we stayed away for an hour and came back only to find the room was not ready because of lack of cleaning staff. we were told to wait for it to be cleaned but i asked for another room which was duly found. it was a lot smaller however than the one we had originally and it was on the fourth floor not the ground but it saved a wait. Rooms are very small.
