Staff was great. Hotel was in a good location close to the Metro. It was a very nice suprise to find this hotel was such a place in considering my first time in London and not knowing the area. This extremely clean and modern refurbed hotel is ideal for the weekend jaunt or business visit.It was clean, had very friendly staff and is centrally situated. Great location, nice and clean, room was decent size and not too noisy.

The staff were lovely, very friendly and efficient, and the room although small was clean and well planned.but there was insufficient space in the restaurant for breakfast and we couldn't order an English breakfast in our room. We chose to eat elsewhere rather than wait 30 mins to be seated. clean, warm rooms - everything we needed for a one night stay. Had we been staying longer the room would have been a bit too small but perfectly adequate for one night. Living in South Wales it is conveniently situated near Paddington and the Tube and has all facilities I might need when in London. location, 1 minute walk form lancaster gate tube station, next to high park. I like the location of the hotel because it is so close to the most famous place in london such as oxford st. andmarble arch and in front of hydepark gate also near to under ground station around 3 minites walk etc.Convenient location and efficiency of the hotel which we have used for many years in the past although your quoted rate was more competitive than Corus itself on this occasion. I was able to relax and also do some work on my laptop for my conference without any disturbances. The location. it's near to oxford street and adjacent to Hyde park. The staff were friendly and were lovely to my three year old son.every was good. The Standard room was very hot and cramped,more like the economy size cabin in a ship!!.However the nice man John behind he desk informed us that they were fully booked on the first night but if we went to reception the next morning we can have a complementry upgrade to a large air conditioned suite!! :) that made the Birthday Weekend all the more special.Xx. The recepion people were very helpful particularly the one that checked me in. Also the member of the concierge staff that advised me about taxis. It was very close to Lancaster Gate tube station, which being on the Central Line made everywhere very accessible.Short way to city centre and Hyde Park. Location. Proximity to Hyde Park. The rooms and bathrooms are small, but, considering I spent very little time in the room, the size did not bother me at all. Cleaning ladies knocking at the door at 8.30 in the morning. waited too long for check in and check out, the receptionist was not aware about hotel policies (type of cards acceptable for payment and use of internet). a bit expensive.yes, I don,t like the size of the room , it is so small. would be better if they put a fridge in each room.Room . Badly needs to be modernised. The first room was very modern but it was only big enough to swing a cat!! (small cat) I mean it was the smallest hotel room we have ever seen a real box room.At 6.50 a.m., there was no hot water in my room so I had to boil a kettle to shave also I could not get hot water for a shower some while later.There was a poor selection of cereals and fruit at breakfast but the staff were helpful. The room was exeptionally small - once our case was opened we had no room to manoever at all!. The window was not tight and it was cold night. First night my room did not have air conditioning and the window could not be opened. Only a small fan was available! Althlough outside the temperature was moderate, inside the hotel roomthe temp was very warm, especially with no air movement.Room was bland - neutral colours, no pictures, felt basic. No air conditioning (as yet). Breakfast was poor value for money - very little on offer for continental breakfast - poor service. rooms were small. the room was very small. shower far too small and wall sloped in fan didnt work nor did hairdryer. Small rooms. i was siting in the cafe with my coke reading somthing,suddenly there was an old man from the bar come down to me and sort of order me without any smile or any kindness in his face to leave that place unless i throw my coke away .i didnt reply him and went silent . but he was sarring at me as long as i stayed over there . cudnt believe myself the customer service sense he got !!!!.
