The room was clean,light and airy. The staff were relaxed, friendly and efficient. As I´m working in a hotel too, then I really had prejudice in the beginning and I tryed to be as critical as I could be. But really I have nevere ever seen so friendly and helpful staff anywhere else. Hopefullyhotel owner and manager know how valuable staff thay have!!!! Location was just super! ( Very close to the subway station ) Room was OK, a bit tiny but for that money it was super.

Location was good. great location. location is 3 mins walk from paddington tube which is v. convenient for zone 1 travel.The personel at reception was amiable and eager to help, the rooms are clean but rather small. location (only 5 mins away from paddington station). Close near major tube stations. They didnt have aircondition, it was terribly warm...Very noisy boiler could be heard from top floor room. We asked for a double room, they gave us a triple one with separate beds. but finally they changed it next day. In my room (a budget one) the toilet was so close to the bath it wasdifficult to use. Also breakfast was good, but would have been evenbetter with real bacon rather than re-constituted. Hotel should invest into new bathrooms and equipment in the room. bathroom too small,. On arrival there was no enthusiam that we where there--after travelling for 10 hours some one should have said nice to see you. Would cost little to provide an ironing board and iron, but they were missing. One of the main concern, it was the cleanliness. Bathroom was clean and dusting too. However the bed was not change any day until it occurred to us to ask them to change at least once, we stayed for 7 nights.My room was on the basement floor and if not for my earplugs I wouldn't be able to sleep at all, because of the noise of the street and the underground as well. It was directly under the room. Old carpet, damaged equipment in the bathroom, damaged window frame... We booked an executive room and felt quite disapointed.the room was much too small. Having booked this hotel as a last minute option it really let me down, the bathroom was filthy with hairs in the shower, a toilet that didn't flush properly and dirty and worn carpets in the room. The TV only had sound with a very hazy picture. And to top it all as I was allocated a basement room at half five in the morning the tube literally made the room shake. Never ever again!!!. The room and bathroom were very small and non ventilated. We found the hotel staff very unhelpful.
