Ideal location Heating level adequate even in cold weather Quiet - no disturbance from other occupants. Staff were very helpful. Able to leave your bags with them. Location is great. Easy to book good for tube. The space. Location. The location and price were good but our selling point was the two bedrooms and fully furnished apartments. We had two couples and two children. They even had baby utensils. We bought groceries at a convenience store a block over and it really helped with expenses. Most Everything is in walking distance or the tube is close by and easy to use. Free WIFI in the apt! Friendly staff. Apartment is cute and updated.
all reviews » The room was quiet. The building is being upgraded but still work to be done. When we phoned reception our requests were followed up promptly. Close to public transport. If it was 2 or 3 stars then it would be excellent value and the staff at the main reception were really very nice and extremely helpful. Great location, easy access, nice enough apartment, well enough equipped kitchen. Good location within London and had basic facilities to cater for your stay. Location, space in the apartment. Lower ground floor location of this apartment Unpleasant smell in outer hallway Fire door left open regularly The exit door from the kitchen needs to be more secure - dead lock mechanism needed. Really need to provide more utensils, crockery, decent sized pans etc and please label all the random switches- we accidentally switched off the fridge. Directions confusing - there is a hill and there is a road but not a hill road. Took a while to find. The amount of stairs Lack of bath. 1. Bathroom- blockage with hair at shower. Water can't runs smooth. 2. Bed and matress at second room need to change due sound noisy every time u move during sleep. 3. Check-in desk too far. Need to walk around 25minit. From apartment No8 to apartment No55 to check-in. The beds were very uncomfortable! You can literally feel the springs. The walls are very thin so if you're a light sleeper this may not be the apartment for you. They don't clean during your stay but you get fresh towels every few days. It would be nice if they would supply a broom at least for sweeping during a long stay. Still a great deal/location/place. * 67 stairs to get to our room & I had recently hurt my back. * shower was tiny and difficult to get in & out of. * very little supplied - had to buy extra toilet paper. No tea towel. * new carpet being laid - old carpet lay outside entrance for the duration of our stay. * no shelves in wardrobes to put clothes & belongings. This is in no way a 4 star accommodation!!! They should not be advertising as 4 star as it's very misleading. Studio apartment was a bit on the small side, needs a bit of a makeover, paint grubby, no headboard on bed, divan sides very dirty, window old and draughty. Hot water would not last for more than 2 minutes, this affected shower and all sinks. If you are unlucky to get a room on top floor, that's 5 flights of stairs with no lift option. Walls were extremely thin so noise from other guests was irritating. Beds were not very comfy, not enough hot water for 5 showers in the morning! Two had to have a cold one!. 1. The room smelt stale 2. There were no bedside lights, or switches, so it was necessary to go into the lobby, switch off the lights and then grope one's way back to bed in the dark. For this one reason alone we would not return. 3.The heater didn't work (and had one castor missing). Lots of maintenance issues. No hot water at night. Tv does not work, no clothes dryer . not accessible for elderly. room damp and musty. Fully equipped kitchen???? Cooker could not be used as no knob - shame we didn't take pliers with us! Nice microware .... once again shame no microwave dishes, no cork screw, no hot water, back killing hubby after two nights on the sofa bed. Worst problem - water seeping under cracked tiles in shower room...... hope the water was from the shower!!!!! Stayed in apt 6. i booked this for my parents unfortunately they where given an appartment which was on the third floor with no lifts the last flight of stairs was very narrow not ideal with luggage after much insisting to receptionist they where finally moved to a lower floor after the third day there not an ideal start to a holiday for a mature couple. one of the worst places I have ever stayed at. Not helpful staff. Not clean place. Zero security. No reception, no room service, expensive, no housekeeping. I do not recommend it at all.
