As there were no rooms in Ilkay Hotel, they send us to the Oriental Express two doors further. While waiting the room, we got tea and explanations of the area and hotel, and later porter showed the room and friendly talked with us. Hotel was very close from the old center and we did not have to use the public transport. Stuff was friendly. yes i do like to stay again. all ok.

That I had a bad to rest in, water (cold and hot), toilet and thebreakfast. That's about it. This hotel is ok for short trips and only ifyou spend no more than 6-8 hours (just the sleeping time). The breakfast is good , location as well. Breakfast is good. A bit noisy, but just a bit.The food at breakfast could have been more diverse. Maybe the breakfast menu can rotate better choice coz we had scramble eggs with tomatoes everyday.... days stay. At least a different style of eggs served. Hotel toilet doors are a bit difficult to unlock...as spececially for my 6 yr old boy to manage.room was too noisy. Quite small rooms, extra bedside table or wardrobe can be useful. Ooooh, so many things. I would start with the fact that the there was abuilding site next to my window and every morning at 8 am that startedto amuse us with the pneumatic drill. Joy joy happy happy. The bathroomceiling was full of dankness, the elevator that was supposed totransport us from the 1st floor to the 3rd, was out of order after onlyone day. No way this is a three start hotel. The room furniture is very old. There is no mini bar. Actually there is nothing in the hotel except rooms. Dont expect anything from the stuff, because you wouldnt find them.Renovation at the lobby while the entire hotel should been closed. Knocking down walls, changing heating, installing doors, dusts everywhere, no seating at the lobby....
