All the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. The rooms were perfectly clean and had recently been refurbished. The major attractions were within easy walking distance of the hotel and the view from the rooftop was amazing. The breakfast was really good too. I would definitely stay there again. Everything !! A truely charming hotel with incredibly friendly staff. Central location, clean, big rooms with excellent facilities. I highly recommend this hotel for any guest, you will not find a better value for money hotel anywhere in Istanbul.

Also, although the room was sufficient I would have appreciated my towel being changed at least once.I would expect bathroom, towels and sheets to be somewhat more clean (nothing serious though). There was a small and old tv with no satellate channels in our room. We booked a double room with double bed but we got two single beds. Elevator didnt stop in our floor.. Noise from other rooms and corridor. The hotel staff could be more carefull about the cleanliness. It is clean enougth, but with a little efort coulbe realy better especialy al the breakfast place (e.g. tablecloth) and at the room (I found a empty bottle of water from de former client and I leaved it as I found it, and un til my leaving it remanins in the same place). The 30% of the rooms have no view from the window (included mine). Limited choice at breakfast. Cleaning service was awful, windows can't be properly closed-therefore very noisy. First night was smelly (sewage) and street noise most of the night. However, hotel staff moved us to another room without arguing. The breakfasts were adequate, but not as good as other European hotels we have stayed in. The breakfast was not good enough. Lots of noise from construction sites close to the hotel during night. It wasn't easy to sleep. I wasn't sure about staying the last night. I went to the airport. When I was back I found that they have rented the last night of my room to some one else. Then they find me a room in another hotel. They are not trusty enough.Poor breakfast; room's furniture pretty old. But if you want to see more than the old town, its better to stay in a hotel in areas like Taksim, Ortaköy or Bebek. Its higher prices but if you stay in lower price hotel in old town, the taxi money to go to the nice places becomes more in the end.staff was not helpful.
