I booked this hotel with a friend when we visited Istanbul for 3 days. The hotel is close to the Topkapi palace and the Blue mosque, you can walk easily from the hotel. The room was clean and the staff was really helpful. We wanted to eat somewhere where the local people go to. The manager(Cem Dalci) of the hotel helped us to book a nice restaurant with really good food! He helped us twice to find a restaurant, the first time we were sitting at the bosphorus and the second time we had a few ove.
all reviews » Our stay in Q-Inn was perfect. We get rooms in a new structure of the same Group. Rooms in Nea Suites are of really high level, with news fornitures and services. We had a small problem with the shower and the technic came immediately solving it. Position is perfect in the center of the old city and closed to all the city services and the attractions of the city. As we had a cancelled flights due to a strike, the staff was unbelievable kind and available in helping us with this matter. In parti. Jameel at reception was so polite and did his best to make our stay as comfortable as he can, he gave us early check in at 8:30 morning with no extra charges and gave us a free upgrade. the room had no complimentary tea/coffee nor electric kettle at the beginning, but when i requested one Jameel response was positive and so quick. Turkish Hammam of the hotel is perfect and free to use, however getting a massage will cost you 35 euro. location of the hotel is perfect, grand bazar, topkapi pala. Breakfast has a lot of choices.Staffs are friendly and helpful. They were very responsible to investigate when we reported that someone accidentally opened our room door while we were in the room. It turned out to be a misunderstanding - one of the hotel staffs would like to undertake a daily minibar check but had no idea someone was in the room(he knocked but we didn't manage to answer it at the first instance). They had explained the whole thing after we reported it and apologized. This was the second time in Q Inn. I chose it over many hotels in Istanbul because it's comfortable, clean, and the staff are very helpful. Seda guided us through the best shopping malls in Istanbul and how to get there. Umut on the reception was always ready to help. I think the value for money was great especially that the hotel is close to everything with 2 tram stations near, 5 mins walk to the bosphore , sultanahmet square, restaurants, and souvenir shops. actually I was upgraded to another hotel, nea suites, owned by the same person. I checked lots of details before arrival and cemil in Q INN is helpful and nice. after arrival they updated my booking to suite, located in another hotel, nea suites. The suite is really nice and breakfast is quite good. good location, close to Sirkeci. The service is great. The reception is very helpful, he explained directions, the city and helping to find a tour. We had to leave very early in the morning before the breakfast time start, when we consult this, the reception offered if the sandwiches would do for the breakfast. Something other hotel will not bother to do. Good location, in ten minutes from Blue Mosque and Topkapa palace on foot. Tram station is just near. The hotel looks renovated,everything is in good condition, pleasant design of restaurant. Breakfast- very good, especially cheese. Tea-set was brought at room. Very hospitable staff. I will recommend it to my friends. Upon arrival we were offered a free upgrade to the suite room in Nea Suites! This is completely new, great hotel just accross the road from Q Inn. Rooms are completely new, very modern and stylish! Personnel is very friendly and ready to help with all inquiries! This was great stay!. The staff were so kind, friendly and always willing to help. They made us feel comfortable and at home. The breakfast was delicious and the location fantastic. We could easily walk to the big Mosques, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, Ferries, The Metro Station etc. Location was great - very close to top attractions. Streets around hotel were full of shops, restaurants. Room was clean, size - enough for us - we came to visit Istanbul not hotel. Hammam absolutely perfect. Coffe from express should be included in the breakfast - that would be really nice :). - There's a construction yard right opposite hotel. It's not loud at night it just looks bad - They didn't accept the American Express as the payment, so we ended up chasing ATM's on our last day there. Nothing really. Perhaps a little variety in the breakfast menu would be good. More fruits and local sweets at breakfast would be nice;. Breakfast: could add a few more hot dishes like scrambled eggs, sausages to substitute the " overloaded" cheese selections. Rooms are pretty old, with lots of small "bugs": non-functional air condition (repaired on demand), broken shower door (not repaired). Main stairway always covered with lots of boxes/packs/other stuff. Rooms are smaller, than it's shown on fotos. The breakfast items served were not always consistent & the fruit was usually too green to eat. little noise from the construction beside the hotel but it was only during the day time. spa opening times was not good they only open fromin the afternoon and till 8:30pm, air condition was not working in our room. Bath in same room is small. One single criticise was that the breakfast was always the same everyday. Small room. There were 2 things i didn't like: 1- View from the room was to the building that was under construction, only for the daytime it was noisy; 2- the shower-head was leaking a little, I asked the stuff to repair it. They fixed it, but after passing one day it was broke again (but after that I didn't pay attention for that )) ). Nothing to dislike. there is a construction site next to the hotel,so it is very noisy. same breakfast every day. The breakfast was the same every day. The box in the bathroom is very small. View from windows is a big construction site.Walls were paper thin. Reception desk not helpfull when we ask to change room from double bed to twin. At the first day, they put us in a small room, not like what it was mentioned while making the booking, next day when I complain about it, they moved us to the big rooms. I am wondering how this hotel and Hilton have the same rate 8.3 on 200+ votes ? Broken TV, window was not tight, small elevator, shaking floor. Location perfect, but anyway... Breakfast.
