We stayed there for 2 nights. This hotel is on the best location for traveling in Istanbul. Only 1 minute walking from Tram station with walking distance to all key tourist attractions. The room is nice and clean. Staff can speak English. The breakfast is ok. This is a highly recommended hotel for city trip in Istanbul. The staff is really nice and helpful. We were a group of 6 friends we had 2 triple rooms. Very nice bright and good size. The location is great for sightseeing shopping and night life. 2 min away from a tram station and we did most of the touristic stuff by foot. It was my second time and i will definitely return.
all reviews » Location was perfect, 50m from Gulhane tram stop, 10 mins walk to Sultanahmet, 10 mins walk to Galata Bridge. Staff very friendly and helpful, albeit with limited English. Breakfast food selection good and fresh. Would highly recommend the hotel. I stayed in the suite room which provides spacious and comfort. Even though room rate is somehow expensive compares to other hotel or other rooms, if you see the view from the open and spacious balcony we will feel its worth for that amount. Staffs were super helpful. The location was great...it was just next to the topkapi palace...and about a 5 mins walk to hagia sophia and the blue mosque. I would recommend it to my family members. I really enjoyed there , the staff so helpful and kindly , the area in the middle near SulatanAhmet and Big Bazzar Sure ill come back to this Hotle. Central position of the hotel, next to the main tram line which is very handy. Modern furniture and bright rooms.good breakfast, good coffee. The location is great: all most impressive sights are very close. The tram stop is just next to the hotel. The breakfast wasn't various: eggs, cheese, ham, fruit, some vegetables, muesli, few sweets, but it was enough for me. The worker are nice and helpfull. - clean rooms - good location. The hotel sign can't be seen when you walk from the tram station direction. We carried our luggage when getting down from the tram, and walk past the hotel for almost 500 meters. Toilet and shower are only separated by non-transparent glass from the room, which could be a problem for some travellers. However I think that when two people can share a bedroom they would not mind having this lack of privacy with the toilet and shower. From the ground floor to the reception which is in the 1st floor, there is no elevator. However, the staffs are very helpful to move all the necessary things (luggage, baby stroller). No fresh orange juice for breakfast could be improved. Earplugs recommended as the hotel is above a restaurant in a popular touristic area. So although the windows are new the noise can be heard ( especially rooms on the corner). The reception is on the first floor with no elevator. Elevator is from the first floor inwards to the upper parts with rooms. Bed is a bit hard, water leaking from the shower area. Nothing. Nothing. nothing. Water warmness not consistent after I turn on the hot/cold water tap. + Windows are not well made: they look new but with big gap. so heater did not work properly as cold wind comes from the gap. + hotel restaurant offers 15% discount but they then add 10% service fee in the bill. The hotel isn't very new. My room was pretty small in spite of double. But what I disliked more was not suitable room cleaning, old towels and bedsheets. I've paid for the staing special price, so it was ok ( 180€ for three nights), but I wouldn't have paid more. The beds not comfortable also has sound Ristorante in the entrance and sometimes they close the entrance and you have to use the ristorante door to go in. - small rooms - bad entrance - not helpfull staff.
