If you are looking for a clean and affordable place to stay in Istanbul Hotel Evsen is for you. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, the room prices are reasonable and the service and reception staff are super friendly (A special thank you to Mr. Sinan for all his help). We spent a total of 7 nights at hotel Evsen and it really felt like home. best staff in the world, veeery helpful ,attentive and the atmosphere is super. location is the best, 5 minutes walk to the center and all the sight seeings. very clean, cute rooms. no car or any other kind of noise. very calm and peaceful. I would definately recommend this hotel to everyone who visits Istanbul.

Very clean Hotel and Rooms, Very Friendly and polite staff, Great Location: The hotel is located in the historical centre and also in a quiet place - it was very easy to reach all the main sights, nice breakfast and very good value for money. I recommend this hotel to everyone!!!. no smoking in the hotel and the rooms are spotless. I liked the staff very much, they are decent, social, keen to satisfy all their guests' request and needs.The hotel is clean and located in a very calm and good middle area, near to a lot of places. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable and the rates are resonable.We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It is very well situated (Sikerci), the employees are very kind and everything is new. Taking breakfast in entrance lobby with main door constantly opening is uncomfortable in winter temperatures. Breakfast could be more varied. Owner aware that certain improvements needed. Asking customers for part cash payment not a good idea.Rooms are pretty small, and bathroom/shower is tiny and also lacks towelrails, hooks etc. so is difficult. Try and get a room at the front assome others are particularly dark and/or tiny. Buffet breakfast is okbut basic and gets boring. breakfast in lobby at front door. The rooms were extremley small and the decor was poor, the lights did not work, and i got an electric shock from the bedside light, which was witnessed by hotel staff. I demanded to move rooms, which i eventually did. i then cancelled my second night at the hotel.
