Motel One Berlin Ku'damm is an ideal location for anyone wanting to explore Berlin. It is just around the corner from the train station and main shopping street and the Zoo. The hotel's decor is very modern which I liked, staff were very friendly giving us lots of information on places to eat and drink. Although our room was just opposite the railway station the room was completely quiet. all reviews »
Personnel were always friendly and most helpful. Breakfast was very fine. We appreciate that the facility is a non-smoking motel. Our room was very clean and well cared for each day. We stayed in a family room (542) -- all beds were very comfortable. We loved the peacefulness of the fish on the TV screen. One comfortable chair in the room might have been a good addition.This was avery good hotel and was excellant value for money. The breakfast was superb. Room was very comfortable and the staff very friendly. It is located very close to the railway station. I and my group thoroughly enjoyed staying in the hotel. The modern design of the rooms was especially appreciated.Large spacious room, quiet, clean and comfortable. Well situated for touring. The buffet breakfast excellent. I thought the design was very nice and the staff very very helpful. I would stay there again.The excellent location, the modern, clean room and facilities. An option to view English language films would be nice. No electrical outlet by the desk. The use of the room key to turn on power is strange and a bit annoying. The cost for internet access in the room is exorbitant.I would have liked a room with a better view, because there were railroad tracks just outside my window. But the sound isolation was good, so the trains didn't bother me (I was exhausted anyway). Also I would have liked something that look more than a bar, but that's not important, I guess. My room was facing the railway, so I could not open the window (due to noise). However sound isolation is very good. Also, breakfast is ok, but not entirely a value for money.We had to spend the first night in another hotel of the chain. Our room was given already, although we had confirmed our late check in. The internet connection is only available in the hall not in the rooms. I would like to change seats more frequently (we stayed for 5 nights and never change them). the latte macchiato machine used poor quality espresso and the latte at the bar was not hot enough. It would be nice to have an alarm clock in the room.only news channels in english language. The room didn't have a telephone and neither had a closet.No small refridrator and no cuppord. The services were almost absent.The room wasn't cleaned until late afternoon. internet in the room needs to charge and it's expensive.Room was sometimes cleaned late. No wardrobe or drawers to put clothes in. Interior design a little bit tacky in my taste.Horrible Hotel, horrible staff.
