Beautiful hotel with great design and view over the railway, best location next to fantastic restaurants, bars, shops and were able to find a parking spot just outside every night. The reception personnel were ok, the girls at the breakfast buffet (which was fantastic) were very polite and helpful - they surely deserved the tip. So was the bartender - great cocktails! you should try the bar/lounge area in the evening-locals choose it too. We are definitely coming back to Berlin and to this hote.

Since it was snowing the days I was there the lobby fire pit was great. Location awesome to get anywhere with the S-Bhangra only a block away. Several great local restaurants. Go to Berlin for ITB every year and already looking forward to return visit. Tasty breakfast, spacious room, comfortable bed. I was rather surprised by all the equipment for handicaped in the room & bathroom. However let me point out that a handicaped person in a wheelchair will never reach the upper shelf on the wall. It would be better to have an ordinary wardrobe... Perfect location next to Savignyplatz with lots of nice restaurants and cafés. Super friendly staff, from reception to bartender. Excellent brunch buffet with quality products (yummy home made jams). Complimentary magazines (GQ, Vogue, Berlin & I etc) in the room. We asked to get another room away from the rail lines and they moved us for the second night. Ask for a room not overlooking the train lines and I would recommend it. Nothing...everything was perfect!!!. The train noise can be a bit annoying, so if a light sleeper request courtyard side if hotel, but the view from the train side of the park is great? Pricing of breakfast seems high. Surprised there was no tea/coffee maker in rooms, which would be the perfect touch. The trains passing every 3 minutes under my window... nothing. If the breakfast was less expensive, it would be much better. The rooms looking to the railways are not sound-proofed enough. The heavy curtains help, but make the room too gloomy. N/A. Nothing was bad but there was no news paper in English and the tv program all in German except news Chanels were in English. Internet connection wasn't satisfactory. No shower caps and if you are a light sleeper then request rooms away from railway track. Nothing. Wished I had more time there. Not special to mention. The bed was a little bit small. In the morning there was significant water pumping noise in our room. It wasn't a big deal but bothersome if you are a light sleeper. Only downside some rooms might be to close to Overground, if you are a really light sleeper. I did not have problems as windows canceled almost all noise out. Would have enjoyed some evening entertainment. It's a bit tucked away....and absolutely directly across from and overlooking the train rails. Ifmyoumhave a room facing this way you can hear the trains... But with earplugs you can't so we could sleep. Some of the staff are quite friendly but some are not. We have asked several questions regards to transportation and she showed a bit annoyed. one of the recption lady made me very uncomfortable, she seen to be racial discriminaiton to chinese people. the training of the workers for this hotel still have a long way to go. One elevator in 7-floor hotel, only. Weird internet regulations (if you do not login with you vouchure within 2hrs you have to get another vouchure?!?). Staff relatively junior and unexperience. And worst - in a suite pillows that are hard as a brick. Fully synthetic bedding, awful. Alternatives "not available".
