The friendly and professional manner in which Letitia handled my complaints regarding the poor breakfast experiences received by your sub contractor tgif. Three day in a row, not funny starting your day with what I call a Disaster!!! The first day, the doors opened at 7:10 am. Only one hostess. The buffet was ready, but there was no set up made. No coffee, no spoons (covers). The waiting crew arrived at 7:20. No manager on sight!!! Music as loud as if you are in a disco. My god this is early mo.
all reviews » - We were upgraded to a suite at no extra cost because it was a smoking suite. - After checking out, we needed to use wi-fi to contact home and couldn't find any. We went back to the hotel on the offchance we could use theirs and were promptly given the wi-fi password by a lovely member of staff. - The suite was gorgeous. - We needed extra time to pack in the morning and requested a later check-out time, which was granted. Fantastic room and very clean in a very good position for Outlet shopping-Universal Studios(15 min walk or hotel transfur) International Drive and transportation.Hotel workers very friendly as with tour desk for pre paid Universal tickets. Orlando Ale House 5 minutes walk and has a great atmosphere and food.Off highway 4 which means handy to get to most locations including Airport.Would stay again in a heartbeat. Good location walked to universal which took about 15 minutes. Rooms were clean and comfortable, facility's offered a separate kitchen with a fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave and lounge area with television and sofa. The hotel is very close to Universal Studios Theme Parks. Rooms are very spacious and clean. It is available to purchase Universal park tickets with the hotel's councierge. we have stayed here a few times only for one night, as like a stop over so we rested for the drive down south to Rotonda west.TheT.G.I Fridays restaurant is next door. Universal just right cross the street. good location, cable bus just out of the hotel. clean, big,comfortable beds, Friday bar nearby. Tgif does not care about the customer as hi does. They are not trained to deal with breakfast. They are simply a fast food outlet that does not seem to care about repeat business. It is a waste of time, and leaves your customer disappointed. - There are no public payphones in Florida, making it difficult to contact family at home on a regular basis. We were laughed at in a visitor's centre when we asked for the whereabouts of a payphone, which made us feel stupid and isolated from our family at home in the uk. Breakfast at the TGI Fridays not the best and better breakfasts available near by. The breakfast does not have a lot of variety, though it is not bad. You must pay a daily fee for parking. Nothing. nothing. Only food option was T.G.I Friday restaurant ...got boring after a few days. There was no safe in our room. I would like to see more indoor amenities, it rained the whole time we were there and it would of been nice to have an indoor pool or other activities. Guest service only know about universal studio,they cannt help you about transportation or where is the bus station or neerest car rental office , keep away from smoking room it has bad smell cigarettes mixed with mint smell but overall the location is excellent. the shuttle schedule. no breakfast included. We were put on smoking floor which we didn't book for and had no available non smoking when we checked in. facilities must be upgraded, elevators constantly damaged and unsafe. Cleaning at the hotel. Was forced to contact the staff in order to get cleaning. The over enthusiastic sales person at The Universal stand. Cafe da manha ruim. Hotel was dated. Room said it would sleep 6 but we had 5 and it was very tight. Shuttle driver was rude and we were waiting for one child in the gift shop at the bus door and he drove off and wouldn't wait for 1 minute. My reservation was for one king bedroom ... Then i arrived the rooms were full !!!! Then whats is the main perps of the reservation !. They seem to only have twin double beds, not great for couples. The air con is so noisy it kept us awake every night, even after a room changed. Charge us more money, and they did fullfile their commitment as I booked through letsbookhotel.com. the odor from inside the hotel room. the fact that we were intimidated by security at 11 pm because our accounts had not been settled. btw accounts were settled.
