The check in was smooth, professional and friendly and the hotel responded to my confirmatory email and phone call when I was at the airport. The room was clean and ready on arrival. The cafe/dining staff were friendly and did their job well and just very nice to interact with. Even the bar staff went out of their way to go around and get bananas for us which we appreciated. Also the man at the front door helped give us get us a cab and was very nice. We loved the grounds as well as the ro.
all reviews » Hotel was clean and seems to be rennovated recently, which makes it really to high standard of a 4 stars hotel. Room size was okay. Location is great for theme parks visitors, as it is very close to main theme parks and to nice restaurants in Lake Buena Vista. Staff were friendly and helpful in general. Well, to be frank, I was travellilng with my older kid 9 years old, and it was good experience in general. but when we travel full house (5 in total) this might not be the best option, as I mu. I was very impressed with the staff at your hotel. Leslie at the front desk was very professional and the day I checked in was my birthday and she checked me into the room that matched my birthday-513. Alex the parking attendent allowed me to park right in front of the hotel since it was my birthday. The room was very clean and the food was excellent. I recently stayed at the Hilton Hotel near you and paid much more for the room. Your hotel is much better due to the cost and size of the hotel. Your staff was great. Joaquin in dining was the nicest person. He worked every morning at breakfast to make sure everything was good. He was not at the omelet station one morning, the guy over cooked our omelette. Joaquin went back in kitchen to make us a new one cooked our way. He made a bad breakfast a good one, where he did not have to. Thank you for a great visit to holiday inn. B'fast was very good.The suttle to Disney World is every 30 minutes. The staff especially John the waiter and the bellman outside who helped with our bags were very friendly. The room were very clean. We were walking distance to DownTown Disney. There were no additional booking fees with this hotel. We recomend this hotel very much. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Pool was large and clean. We left the do no disturb hanger out for a couple of days while we were out, as the room was not dirty. Housekeeping still checked on us when we retuned and had removed the hanger to make sure that we had plenty if towels and didn't need anything. I liked everything. The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable and the balcony. Every staff member that I interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful. I have not stayed in a Holiday Inn since I was a kid. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends. The staff at the Holiday Inn were very friendly and hospitable! The location of the hotel was close enough to Disney and was right down the road from Downtown Disney. The room was very nice and clean. Our bed was made every day and towels were replaced everyday!. I liked the conveniences of the property close most attractions. I also liked having the transportation to the parks, made life so simple and easy. The Sunday breakfast buffet was very good, I usually don't like buffet so you get an "A" for that. The hotel was very nice. We stayed for two days and loved having the free shuttle to the theme parks. Pool was heated and very nice. Excellent restaurant and the free fondue was the best. We ate at the reataurant 4 times. Downtown Disney is a 10-minute walk away, shopping malls are within 10 to 20 minutes by car. There is also a 24-hour supermarket within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful The prices for the room and at the dining room were very budget friendly and the shuttle buses to the attractions were over the top please keep up the great work. Staff are outstanding. One employee, Paul, valet parked our car each time we came and went. He had such a marvelous personality that he set us up for a good stay as we entered the building each day. It was really good staying at the hotel for 3 days while visiting Disney Land theme Parks . Offering a shuttle every 30 hours to all the disney parks and diseny downtown. All things were great!. Nothing really. The phone was a puzzle to figure out. Upon arrival when we asked for a room facing the Magic Kingdom in order to see the fireworks at night, we had to pay $10 extra for that room. Nothing. Buffet breakfast was pricey for what was offered. There were buses to and from Disney. We had to wait on the buses but not horribly long. The drivers were not very friendly either!. The only thing that I didn't like was I left behind one personal item which never came back to me. They told me it wasn't found, I know it was taken by someone, housekeeping most likely which is too bad. It never came home with me. I disn't like that you had to pay to park 10.00 a day. Our T.V. Remote dis not work which was frustrating. I liked everything about my stay. The two things that I didn't like was, The noise from the ground floor especially in the weekned. And we heard daily the sound of the spoon and forks in the morning !!! At the time of breakfast. The second thing is the housekeeper , she didn't do anything only making the bed and toilet . The only thing , we had to pay the parking and doesn't include breakfast!!!!. The guest services rep (there was a different one everyday) gave us more misinformation than useful information. Something needs to be done in that area. I did not like the fact that people were allowed to smoke in the courtyard area by the pool. When we opened the patio doors to get fresh air, the smoke smell entered the room. Therefore we rarely opened the doors. For our family it took away the benefit of having a room overlooking the pool, with a patio. Size of bathroom vanity! 23" Countertop and no space to put toiletries...kept dropping things on floor. Just to small for any hotel!. Only 1 restaurant located in the hotel. It was pricey for the food served there. Had to drive/or use Disney transportation to go to other restaurants. Information in the internet for the breakfast did not indicated the right information I booked for 6 nights including breakfast but when arrived I was told that it is for two people only, not includes the third person. The bathroom was small for a four people room. Breakfast was expensive. Wound up eating off premises. The cleaniness of the room can be much better. The breakfast is expensive, they are not clear enough about the difference between 12.00 buffet and 18.00 for waffle and egg services. We were 5 adults and ended up paying 120 dollars for breakfast. Next day we went to waffle house, ate eggs and steak for a total 0f 80.00 for all of us. not a big fan of Disney per se, but was there for a conference, so no real choice there. Dealing with credit card charges - it was one stupid man who spoiled our hoiliday by charging us again and it took managers a few days to fix it - I must say they were very professional and friendly. Traffic noise from I-4. Although the dinner menu prices were reasonable the breakfast prices were quite high. Also not many options (buffet or continental). Front desk staff not very helpful or friendly. Bed in the room was too soft, so had back pain. 2 elevator banks was not explained at check in, so went to the wrong one and had to back track. Nothing. The breakfast was very poor, no vegetables , no cheese . The pillows. They were so hard and too puffy. Nothing really, would have loved an ice machine on my floor but didn't bother me. Beds need to be updated !! fan in bathroom ,.
