My family enjoyed being able to cook in our own kitchen, we were able to do laundry so it was less clothes being packed going and returning from vacation and we were able to come home with clean clothes. We liked the spacious living room and a dining room/kitchen area which meant less money being spent on eating out and more time spent together enjoying different activities. We took our entire family - grown children, with their spouses, and our grandchildren. A party of 15. Blue Heron was affordable for that many, We rented 3 -1 bedroom suites and divided into groups of 5. All of us enjoyed having a full kitchen. The pool was a favorite of the grandchildren. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all it was a good value for the money.
all reviews » Brought my 2 children for trip to Disney. Took less than 10 minutes to drive to all the parks. The staff was great, had 2 call twice for assistance. Once tv not working, other sliding door wouldn't close. They promptly came up fixed the issues. Spacious, clean rooms...loved having 2 bathrooms and full kitchen...beautiful view of pool and lake...very quiet...convenient location...free wifi...helpful and friendly staff...free covered parking. Clean and spacious. Comfortable place to stay if you are mainly just needing a place to sleep while you spend most of your time at the parks. Easy access to I-4, parks, restaurants, groceries, etc. the place was wonderful everything about it i can't wait to get back there the price was better then staying in a hotel with so much more to offer. great job keep it up. We loved the location. Close to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. The resort and the room was perfect for us. Beautiful and comfortable. All the major theme parks were close by. The hotel was located by lots of restaurants as well!. Staff was very friendly, when we had an issue with the cleanliness of the room they moved us promptly. Close to Disney and other attractions. Lack of extra sheets and blankets available in the condo. There were no sheets for the fold out bed - in any of the three suites we rented. That should be part of the furnishings without having to go ask for them. not a very impressive entrance or lobby area...bedroom carpet dirty...furnishings a bit dated. Not the place to stay if you are looking for a fun hotel to hang out at. No amenities except for the pool and it was only open dawn to dusk. there were fleas in one of the room's carpet. wifi was poor. Nothing!. The winning purpose of getting this type hotel was to cook but there was only one skillet, no hot pads, no utensils or cookware only dishes. Lost some food due to not able to cook it. I'd recommend a bleach stop at the nearby dollar store before you check in or using the bathrooms or walking on the floors barefooted. Nasty sticky and dirty around or under furniture. Sad!. Nothing at all. Nothing. pool closes too early. I didn't like that the parking garage is overlooking the pool area... Not very private. Wi Fi signal poor!! Noise from guests above!!. TV on the bedroom was not confortable to see. Parking lot. Carpets in both bedrooms were filthy. Floor was dirty too. Refrigerator had to be replaced during stay, hair dryer in bathroom did not work. The jacuzzi in my room didnt work. The bed sheets were not very comfortable. My bed had a mattress pad that wasn't very comfortable as well! When you took a shower the shower head was horrible!. The first room we got was disgusting. There were pubic hairs all in the bed and red stains on the pillows, clearly the maid service had not cleaned it/changed the bedding. Not very family friendly when it came to the pool bartender always yelling at kids to get out if hot tub and for playing with pool toys.
