Spacious and comfortable- I think staff struggle when it is busy to be available but it does have a rather welcoming informality about the place. Don't worry about no breakfast- lots of cafe's nearby- I HIGHLY recommend "the Square" cafe round the corner- superb at very reasonable prices and lovely staff! Anthony stayed june 13 -

We loved everything about the place hotel,the staff were lovely the food was really nice and reasonably priced along with the drinks from the bar.It has a very modern decor but expensive feel to it with gorgeous crystal chandeliers in bar and lounge area.It is very central with everything you need within walking distance like shops pubs and the castle.We had an excellent stay here and would recommend the place hotel to anyone in fact my boyfriends mam and sister have already made a booking! 150

Location is perfect. They are installing tram lines in the street but it still has access if you are arriving by car or taxi. Its a short walk to Waverly Station and all main tourist attractions can be reached by foot if you like to walk.
Room was excellent, breakfast was great. Did not try the restaurant at night but menu looked good and fairly priced.
Staff were all very friendly and attentive.
