  Breakfast was good value - just over £8 for unlimited buffet (inc. cooked breakfast) and unlimited Costa coffee. My bedroom was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Location good - 5-7 mins walk to Princes Street and 10-15 mins walk to Royal Mile/castle. Haymarket train station 2 mins walk away - for trains to Glasgow (and to Waverley if ... what people say » you don't feel like doing the 20 min walk). Murrayfield and Tynecastle about 20 mins away by foot, if you're catching some sport while in Edinburgh. S - Fabulous hotel. Staff were great, everybody was friendly and polite and went out of their way. Location is super, 2 minutes walk from haymarket station and 15 walk into Edinburgh city centre. Buses stopped outside the hotel to go to Princes street if you didn't fancy the walk. Food was good, we had breakfast and was lovely with lots to choose from. Didn't eat there otherwise but saw the food and it looked very nice. Rooms and beds clean and comfy. Great hotel.

  This was my first stay in a Tune Hotel and my first trip back to Edinburgh in 20 years! I have to say I was very impressed. I didn't check in until late at night and the staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome, stating, 'we've been waiting for you'. Even the shower doors looked like they had been polished clean, that's how immaculate it was. My only gripe was that th - I like the brand new design for simplicity & comfort with excellent staff at the welcoming front desk. Every one at the check in or out counter has positive and helpful attitude towards guests from all over the world. Here I would like to pay special respect & thank them from the bottom of my heart. As for room cleanliness and security device from lobby to lifts and then to rooms, there is nothing to worry about. I like the picture like scenery from my room window. It is purely awesome,

  After reading the reviews,we didnt have high expectations but for us we just wanted a place to put downs our heads for the 2nights we were there.But i have to say the room was immaculate and was way above our expectations.   The location is superb! I was impressed with the variety of the breakfast selections. The hotel offered a 20% discount on the parking garage, which was only 1 block away from the hotel. - The staff went above and beyond. When they found out our 8 year old daughter was with us, they added a double bed for not extra charge.

  Right from the minute the lift opened at reception area, we were very warmly welcomed by two lovely girls who were genuinely pleased to see us. The Hotel is just a 5-7min walk from the waverly railway station and is directly opposite the famous Edinburgh Castle. Although we dint spend much time in the hotel and dint get a chance to dine in, but the Hotel was very nice, Clean and had all amenities one could ask for. A value for money hotel for people travelling to Scotland and are in a mood to Explore rather than stay in!

  Location is excellent with loads of buses into the city centre but the local bars and restaurants in Leith offer a huge choice, plus the new shopping centre is only yards away from the front door of the hotel. Excellent value. - I first booked at the Waterfront but found out that there was one closer to the city center when I reached Edinburgh and managed to change the booking. I was lucky they had rooms available and for the same price as well. Its called Express By Holiday Inn City Center.

Although it is located in an office park, the train station in literally right next door a seven minute train ride (two stops) will take you right into downtown Edinburgh (Waverly Station).
