Quick registration and departure at reception.Excellent double room with twin double beds which suited my sister and I. Very tasty and substantial evening meal and full range of breakfast food in restaurant. Comfortable bar area. Plenty of car parking space. The hotel was in an excellent location and the price was fantastic. There was a Christmas party taking place in the hotel the night we stayed but this was taken into consideration when allocating our room and we never heard a thing!.
all reviews » We had just completed the MoonWalk so were exhausted, staff were so kind to us even making sure we had a bath, and not just a shower in our room, to soak our weary limbs. The room toilet was just a little tight.Only one person on reception even at busy periods leading to delays in checking in and out. Difficult to find from directions given on website. No bars / restaurants within reasonable walking distance although hotel facilities adequate.The incorrect billing of 3 rooms for one night - billed as 3 nights for 3 rooms. beds are hard. The room was very cold and the heating too noisey to leave switched on. Very poor general attitude and level of service from hotel staff.bathrom,beds cover. we left very early morning so that we asked to prepare the breakfast package for us; they forgot to do that...The room had been set up specifically for disabled customers. Thus thesink is too low for non wheelchair users as are most of the fittings. Heating didn't work on a very cold night. When asked, the receptionist stated that 'you have to set the thermostat at 21C, wait for 20 min and then it may start'. Bathroom and bath were not clean. In-room internet was very expensive, with a minimum of 24 hoours while I needed 1 hour.they overcharged me £237.00 by charging card on arrival and departure. was not aware till returned home and then struggled to get this resolved still awaiting credits on m account.
