the location of the hotel is excellent, right on la rambla street, the hotel is very clean and the price is very good. Nice, clean rooms with fresh towels each day. Our room was at the back of the hotel which avoided any possible noise from Las Ramblas. The staff were friendly, helpful and happy to provide information for first time visitors. Overall, good value for the price paid at148 euros for 2 nights. I would stay there again.

The staff were very good and could not do enough for us. Communicating was fairly easy. The Hotel is ideally situated on La Ramblas and we would recommend it to anyone. Only problem we encountered (and we've found this is the case for 99% of hotels anywhere)was the refrigerator in the room did not get cold enough. The hotel is good value for money. I thought this was a huge error on their part. Although double glazing provided excellent soundproofing between room and street (essential on Ramblas) sound proofing between rooms was very poor. Experienced a lot of noise from adjoining rooms and also piped music from corridors over loud at times and could be heard in room.The bed was a little uncomfortable...but fine for a short stay. no internet available!!!!. Uncomfortable bed. No sound proofing between rooms. You could hear every sound, moving chairs, turning on water, conversations even flipping a light switch. the tv was missing for two days and the room cleaning was too late, about 3-4 pm. Asked for price on taxi. They said they would get us a price to gerona airport. The price they came back with was far higher than the price of the taxi,s we could get just outside the hotel. Would not recomend that you booked any thing through them. Left us feeling that we did not have any trust in them. to expensive, taking profit of big fair. No service. Not willing to provide extra blanket!. Hotel staff were not helpful at ALL.it is not safe to keep anythingin the room.
