This is a very cosy & most welcoming B&B, with very attentive staff that invite you to walk into the kitchen for pastry & tea whenever you're hungry. The house is exceptionally beautiful from inside and outside, tastefully-furnished (rooms and bathrooms are as beautiful in real life as seen on the website); the most comfortable bed and pillows that make your sleep very satisfying; and on top of that a lovely breakfast and perfect location. Truly a perfect place to stay!.

O Canada is a beautiful old timber house in a great area of Vancouver and it is fitted out with gorgeous period furniture. The house does have a history which is also fascinating. We had the top room which required a few stairs to be climbed. Breakfast was hearty and filling, organic eggs, yoghurt and fresh orange juice. A real gem and we would recommend O Canada to anyone. - The environment is so nice. I felt like at home. - The staff is very friendly and open to give advice for places to visit - Breakfast is delicious even though they do not serve bread - The 24 hours pantry. Very convenience to have tea and cookies after long day of walking - The bed was very comfortable - Bedroom very clean. Room was decorated beautifully and very comfortable. Staff extremely hospitable and very helpful of any needs we had. Breakfast was amazing and restaurant standard, catered for any dietary needs or dislikes. Would recommend for anyone wishing to stay in downtown Vancouver, great location and great bed and breakfast. This was a charming B&B, perfect location to down town and just an $8.00 cab ride to the port cruise. The room was lovely and the breakfast delicious. The relaxed atmosphere and facilities were excellent - even down to the complementary sherry decanter always available in the lounge. I LOVED THE QUAINTNESS AND THE HOME ATMOSPHERE: use of parlor, sherry open kitchen and the warm, caring staff. It was all just so homey and familial. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful and their breakfasts were delicious. One guest requested and was served porridge without an issue. I loved the location. The Staff and owner were wonderful. They have a great chef also. You could just sit in the lounge and relax for hours. Wonderful stay, would greatly recommend. Slight mix up with a double booking of the room, but sorted very quickly and they gave us our first night free of charge because of this. A little hard to find, no name outside the house to let you know that you are at the B&B. Double booked despite personal email confirmation. However we were given 3 very nice rooms instead of the 2 originally booked and at no extra charge. Thanks. A discount for an extended stay would have been good. Nothing. Nothing, its just a really nice experience. Our room was a bit too small and the bed was small and old (too soft, especially for two people). n/a. nothing!. The noise from the alley in the morning can be a little annoying. No a/c. A piece of the floortile was missing in the bathroom and the wood under seemed to be rotten. One duvet in the bed. nothing at all. They kept the house way too hot which made us uncomfortable. Cramped shower. They serve breakfast as from 8.30 other hotels which is too late comparing to canada hotels. The rooms don't seem to have individual heat. Our room got a bit cold at night. Their breakfast was only served during an hour period which didn't work for our schedule one day but the day we went to breakfast it was amazing. More to like than not.
