The front desk staff was rude when we checked in as was the bellhop They just kept telling us how if we touched the fridge we would have to pay!!Maybe we looked like we couldnt afford a 5$ coke,Im not sure however the concierge staff was very helpful!And that made our expierence!. The gold lounge cocktails should be included in the stay. Price for wireless Internet per day. I was surprised that this expensive hotel wanted to charge $15.99 for wifi. Give me a break Even holiday inns give it free and at 20% the room rate. Very annoying. fairly expensive..did not like having to use the key in the elevator.but iguess that is for security purposes..would be nice to have entertainment in the conf room. Had to leave too soon to catch a plane. room for the cost. For CAD 400 one would expect a city-view room. The toilet plumbing was atrocious and noisey. No milk for tea. The room, we got the usual story , your room is not ready but for an extra$20 we can give you a room now etc. the bathroom had a hole in the ceiling and the wardrobes doors were stuck! Two room later we were given a room that had no sunlight so we had to have the light on when in the room. The room wasn't ready at 5 pm and I got a room which had no window I didn't want to wait as I had been travelling all day. The $8.40 bottle of water, the $11.50 can of beer, the $16 per day for Wifi when I am paying $209 a night plus taxes for the night for my room when any cafe offers free Wifi for the price of a coffee. I would not reccommend this hotel to anyone as it is simply not good value for the money compared to other hotels in the same price catagory. I didn't like that with the price of the room that we had to pay for internet. Your hotel was the only one we had to pay for and we stayed in 7 different hotels while in BC on vacation. We also had clean or dirty men's underware and socks in one of the drawers. over priced reservation was difficult not impressed.
