The hotel is my favourite in Vancouver so far. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bar was very nice and had an open front to the street, the bed was very comfortable the wifi was free and fast, the room was clean and had everything I needed (including an iron). We had a cookie delivered to us with room service turning our bed down in the evening. We didn't have room service banging on our door at 08:00 and there were no complaints or phone calls when we were late leaving our room. Althoug.

It made you feel special, a home away from home. We liked everything about the Wedgewood Hotel. It seemed the guests came first in every detail, from the clean , comfortable rooms to the chocolates in the room. It is a great location, we could walk all over downtown and transit was also easily available. Loved it and would definitely stay there the next time we are in Vancouver!. This hotel was amazing and at the top of my list of hotels I have stayed in. From the hotel atmosphere to excellent staff our short stay in Vancouver was made even more wonderful. Also, being a cross fitter, I was quite impressed with the Concept Rower in the work-out room; have never seen one in a hotel before. Good touch. Frint desk Service was very gelpful. Same applies to the Concierge. My favourite CLEAN place away from hime to stay as always. I have stayed at the Four Seasons in Vancouver and the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel. They can't compare to this Boutique heavenly hotel. The staff is unfailingly friendly, helpful, and respectful. You are greeted by name once you have checked in as you come and go or stop by the front desk for information. The bar is chic yet inviting and the food service and quality is excellent. The warmth and friendliness of staff was outstanding. The hotel had thought of everything in terms of comfort from daily newspapers through to accessible powerpoints, a fabulously comfortable bed and bathroom accessories. Everything about the hotel was fabulous , I was looking for a bit of pampering and luxury for a few days before our long flight home and the wedgewood met and exceeded all of my expectations , will certainly be back. Room was extremely comfortable, and was large for an metropolitan intercity hotel. Staff was very helpful and pleasant, knowledgeable of restaurants and events in the area. Went out for dinner in the evening, and returned to a re-tidied room, and cookies on our bedside table - very impressed!. I have always been intrigued by this little hotel. It was the most delightful stay we have ever had with a hotel. The ambience is lovely, the staff were exceptional--fabulous experience. Shower lacked decent pressure, would expect a seperate shower unit from bath. View from balcony was disappointing. Nothing. more pods for the Nespresso machine. Everything great. Can't think of a thing I would change. We would like to see a continental breakfast included in the cost of the room. The breakfasts were very expensive. Not great selections of wine in the bar. View from room was the hvac :(. Room wasn't properly cleaned on one of the mornings. (eg. bits of paper/garbage left on bathroom floor. Ashtray on balcony left to collect rainwater.). Didn't like that our schedules didn't allow us to stay longer. Everything was great. No complaints. nothing comes to mind. The remote control for the tv was a pain the battery was weak. Other than that everything was great. The bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was very hard. Not a good sleep. My granddaughter who was twelve, was not allowed to sit I the bar with me and have a non-alcoholic drink?. Nothing. Not much wrong, room didn't have any view and a tad out of the way from the business core but all around I would give this hotel an A- to A all around. Nothing. I think the rooms are lovely but could use a little updating. The bartender. Breakfast is expensive. Some malfunctions in the room : window doesnt close,. A very small wrinkle! The bathroom extractor fan ineffective in room 609. didn't stay long enough!. the smoking restrictions - but this is Vancouver.
