The hotel was beyond my expectations,in spite of some negative notes by previous guests.The tiny entrance to parking lot was not an issue and did not affect my stay. Yes you can smell cooking at the lobby but still I didn't feel this has annoyed me. The hotel was so easy to find.close to everything and most importantly the beach. all reviews » Spacious clean rooms, good breakfast, efficient staff, good value for money. Bathroom is oddly small for such a large studio. Very nice pool area, though one pool was not available. The road in front of the hotel is little more than a dirt track running parallel to Sheik Zayed Road. The taxis drop you off at the back of the hotel and you go through a back door to the reception so the first impression is not the best. . The hotel was amazing value for money. I stayed 5 nights in this hotel and 5nights in the Burjuman Arjaan which was just over double the price I paid for this hotel and was not half as good. The pool and Jacuzzi havent got much of a view, but it is still nice to look over the smaller part of the city. Overall a very nice apartment at a very very good price. The hotel is very well cared. Excellent & well respecting staff. The Asian type of meals are very epitizing & delicious. Very Good set up of Breakfast Buffet with good variety of food. The Sea View is goious. Though the Hotel is besides the busy & noisy road, but inside is very quiete calm. The setup of the appartment is very attractive. Overall time spent there was nice. I didn't like that I had to pay for the internet. I just don't understand why do we still have hotels charging for the internet. Internet should be one of the free facilities in all hotels regardless of the rank. Not to mention this one is in Media City, Dubai. Moreover, I think the room rate is a bit over. No hand towels in the bathrooms. The existing bath towels were old and stained. No bathrobes in the rooms. One remote control not working. The door to the balcony from the living room was locked. A bit noisy if your room is facing the highway. In my opinion the hotel room service menu is highly priced specifically for snack meals i.e. sandwiches, burgers and fries prices. Decision to remove the mini- confectionary bar in rooms. Mini bar was not removed from hotel facilities description. Poor communication to staff of changed room services policy. Bad planning by management to remove mini bar prior to establishment of ground floor shop which replaces it. My booking was not at the front desk (delay in checking in) and the room was not properly prepared i.e. no tea/Coffee etc. Parking. There's very expensive wi-fi. I have no idea how Internet can costs 20dhm per hour in xxi century in place named Internet City. nothing. Two swimming pools but the one in the sun is never open even though the hotel is advertised as having 2 swimming pools one on each side of the hotel. Reception staff were atrocious. No warm welcome after a long day travelling and no did you like your stay or how was your trip on check out. Pool area is terrible. Only one small section gets the sun and maximum ten people can fit in this area and even then you are lying on top of one another. The taxis in front of the hotel ( they dont have taxi sign on them) were over charing. Instead just walk a little bit and take your own cab. About the only thing I didn't like was the fact that rooms had no free internet. I understand that room rate in other hotels normally include it, however 20 aed per hour or 100 per day is a bit high. You should find a way to make all rooms with internet as part of the room rate. The cleaning staff needs to be more trained .. Also most of the time very late in services.. The kitchen has to be more equiped with the important materials. the entrance from back side, not a big issue though. I wish the doors was thicker and has more isulation. nothing really. Internet is bit high. - quality of food not good - food price is very high. - No free fresh water. Carpets in room need to be shampooed and better cleaning services should be provided in the room. For example dishes are not washed and washing material such as sponges etc. not available. Nothing. washing machine didnt work. enternet charged high. the T.V were on and off some times if you call they will fix it. Little bit expensive for value. Internet connection is not free around 35 US Dollar per day (100 DRH) which is costly little bit.. Bathroom to small,towels almost gone,no accessories in the Bathroom like shaver Blades and shaving foam. internet should be complimentary and for two devices at a time at least. Breakfast needs more variety. No much variety in breakfast and quality low. Reception not friendly. Restaurant in the evening - empty and food not to good. Restaurant not busy so ate out mainly. Treatments expensive. There is not a bar lounge. Beds were not as comfortable as desired. Breakfast was average. Entrance from car park to hotel Restaurant smell in reception NO WIFI. one of the receiptionist is rude and doesnt respect costumer his name is (Dolal), he tried to show me how sad he was when i ask him for something. Studio apartments facing Shk Zayed Road suffered from traffic noise. Business facility need to have separate area with more disks, printer. The elevators need to have key facilities marked next to the floor. If coming by car, you need a detailed map. We got lost but the hotel staff were great at giving us directions over the phone. Nothing to stay..
