Friendly staff is a much advantage as hospitality for any business. But, friendliness will not last long unless they are paid well by the management. So to keep up the current hospitality and friendliness of your hotel staff, do pay well and give them as per the local countries standards and rules. all reviews » Staff, especially the front of house and reception staff were absolutely excellent and always willing to help. The rooftop pool is excellent and inviting. The rooms are clean and very spacious and comfortable. All the staff were helpful and polite. The location is ideal being close to metro station and small grocery shops. There is an excellent array and choice of bars and always something good to do on any night of the week. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean and quiet. A couple of minor problems in the room were fixed very quickly. There was a very lively bar downstairs, but it appeared to be well controlled and did not cause any disturbance to me. There was free basement parking. The breakfast was good, with a varied selection. Free WI-FI was available in the room and lobby. The hotel was new , clean and the room was big .. its good for young couples more than strict families . The location is close to emirates mall amd JBR but far from dubai mall . It has parkings and all the facilties u want spa and swimming pool . The area around is very good . I will defently come back to the same hotel next time . Great hotel and prime location, in between old Dubai and new, so getting around wasn't a problem. Staff were very friendly and especially Peter from the Thai restaurant was exceptional. We had a room on 13th floor. Room was beautiful and very clean with big bathroom. The staff is very nice. Breakfast was taste - there is a lot of things to choose, they made fresh omlet, there are also fresh fruits and some sweets. Valuable, you get what you pay for. the price is considered really good for the location, the building and facilities. Clean, and comfy. Spa in the 4th floor, was AMAZING, you've got to try this. We had a very relaxed stay here. The staff are always so helpful, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The brunch on Friday is fantastic, great value for money with a good variety of food. It was good for the room size and the price. It's good if you roam and come to hotel late by 2am. The club sound would be obviously high, so choosing a higher floor would be a good choice. We were escorted to our room by a member of staff who wouldn't leave our room for ages, showing us the mini-bar, the bathroom, the beds, the tv, the tv channels - all in an effort to "earn" a tip, or so it felt. I didn't appreciate feeling pressured into giving this guy a tip, especially as we only realised upon arrival that we had to pay a 10% service charge on top of the hotel price. I booked my stay on my credit card however the transactions was not processed due to un-known reasons and i have to pay cash at the counter. you should make sure once the credit card is provided u should bill to the credit card and incase of you not getting approval due to technical reasons then you should notify the customer so that he will have to arrange the alternate mode of payment. reduce voice of desco because it is noiesy. Rockbottom cafe and disco. The music bass keeps on humming in the night and felt easily even though we were at 10th floor. Also on weekend, the lifts get crowded due to disco bar. Food was a bit expensive. Breakfast was horrible, suppose to be a international style hotel, but the food was 80 percent Indian style food and was cold. Staff was in attentive and had to ask for silverware and napkins. Eating area was always dirty. Your staff particularly in the gym and sauna areas must learn to get out of the way and not want to start cleaning the sauna room when a guest wants to use the facility. Thank you. Smokey smell in rooms that were suppose to be non smoking. We had to ask for more towels... 4 of us and only 2 given. At Weekend the disco was so busy and was very loud, not suitable for quiet people or business trips in week ends especially in lower floors near the disco in the 3rd floor. - Bathroom is small & when taking a shower too much water on the floor because of tub leaking. The bathroom floor became completely wet every time we showered. Didn't like that had to share elevator with drunk folks attending Rock Bottom or sports bar. nothing. Not much - I am extending my stay. None. I dont like the brakefast and the treatment of the workers there. They have so many staff at management level swaggering around who seem to so nothing. For the most part I found them extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. Not too close to the metro station. It takes around 10 minutes to walk to the hotel. Walking is not a problem, but it can be quite hot in the day. The noise from the disco kept me up most of the night.
