Right from the get-go, Gulf Oasis was amazing. We were supposed to be in a budget room and they gave us an upgrade to a better room. With a large living room, 2 double beds which they put together for me and my girlfriend, 2 toilets a kitchen and dining area, this was a great deal for the price we were paying. Moreover, it was very clean and ready for us to use. The microwave was not functioning but they replaced it within 10 minutes of me letting them know about it. There is little to no issue.
all reviews » We stayed here for 6 nights at the beginning of February, 3 adults and 2 infants in a superior suite (2 connecting apartments). Cannot fault the rooms at all, spacious, clean and all appliances working. The staff were fantastic, making you feel welcome and great with the kids. Shaukat, Manik and Rafiqul were always helpful, smiling and polite. Only downside is internet is not complimentary but they do give you 30 mins free per day if you ask at reception. A supermarket is less than 2 minutes wa. Hotel Was Excellent. Staff Were Excellent And Very Good Specially The Egyptian Mr.( Sebaey) In the front desk was very Helpful.So Kind And Gentle .And Friendly .And Nice .Excellent Service . Size Of The Room. Good Location. Good Value for money .Free parking. My Family And Myself Enjoyed The Stay In the Hotel. Everything Was Perfect And Almost Like A Best Hotel . I will Bring My Family On The Next Trip. The breakfast selection was pretty good but was a tad overpriced. It said on letsbookhotel.com that it would be 37 Dirhams but they charged us 45 dirhams per breakfast per person. Keep an eye out for that. Wifi should be free. No free wifi. I'm sure the sheets were clean, but with all white bed linens spots do show. Also, because of this I never put the card on the sheet that says not to change them for ecofriendly reason. However I slept in the same spotted sheets for the three nights I was staying there. Wifi is not free of charge, but also not very expensive either per 24 hours. Location is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but definately fine for getting around with metros and taxis. Nothing. The only point I can mention is that water in the bathroom was not very hot, but warm enough. Doesn't effect the whole impression. we liked it all. The price was higher than other hotels of the same standards in the same area. No free wifi. Phone in the room does not call mobile numbers. Location for me was a little out of the way as the places I neede to be in were not in the versinity. I guess that was my fault when I booked. Security man at night. nothing. Two things: 1. they now charge for internet services. The signal and quality was significantly poorer than in my previous stay where the service was free and the signal was excellent in all rooms and facilities. 2. the price was considerably higher than in my previous visit, comparing this with other bigger names in the hotel industry I would definitely not go there again and try for something different during my next visit. water is kind of hot day and night maybe because of summer time and aircondtion on bedroom little cold and can't be adjusted but acceptable. Room STANK of smoke and because you are high up you cannot open windows. Very very stuffy. Building work going on next door so lower floors are quite noisy. The stink from cigarettes was just awful though!. nothing actually. the apartment door was not balanced. Location was a bit far from downtown Internet access 25 uad/day/device. Cleanliness is obviously a challenge. We found food remains under the sofas and stains on the bathroom floor. However, when we complained the staff attended to it very well. The other issue is the noise level. The apartment door was not really sound proof and there was a party next door which kept us awake until 6 am the first night. Having said all that, I might stay there again because those issues are fixable. The bathroom usually remained wet as there was no proper draining for floor clearance. - Only one TV - Wireless wasn't for free - Apartment isn't carpet. Too expensive internet! 25 aed for 1 Day For 1 Device!.
