The staff were amazingly helpful and accommodating. We arrived way too early but they made the room available and for us anyway. We checked out on the last day but were allowed to keep the car on the car park so we could enjoy the rest of the day in York without having to pay to park in the city. Breakfast always ready within minutes of arriving in the breakfast room and was a lovely start to the day with fresh fruit and a full cooked breakfast. Room very clean with biccies and chocs on the tea.

He also gave us a map of the city and told us of things to see and places to eat. Dianas breakfasts well lovely and there was lots of choice. The room was comfortable, clean and well furnished with everything you could need, including a fan which was well used as the weather was very warm.We had room 4 with a four poster bed. Although t. The guest house is situated just a short walk from the centre of York or you can catch the bus which takes 5minutes to the City walls. From the time we arrived to the time we left we were greeted with smiling friendly and informative staff and nothing was to much trouble for them if you wanted something. The room we had was absolutely spot on in every respect we had room 3 the complementary drinks and chocolates in the fridge and coffee and biscuits which were put in the room daily. The flat sc. Relaxed friendly atmosphere. On arrival we were greeted with tea and biscuits and given some tips on what to see and where to eat. We tried Little Italy first and went back on our second night and would have gone back again if we had been there 3 nights! The full english breakfast is superb and there's plenty of fresh fruit which pleased my wife. If we return to York this is where we'll stay. Diana and Tony are perfect hosts there if you need them but otherwise you are free to come and go as yo. Lovely couple who run & own this b&b. Fantastic bedrooms each with its own design, style and quirkiness! They clearly are in the process of designing and updating the whole place. A memorable stay in a beautiful room with great features, we will definitely be back again. Tower Guest House is about a 20-25 minute walk from York Rail Station. About a 15 minute walk into town, not an issue when it's not raining. Had a problem with the toilet flush, but this was fixed. No faults at all. There was nothing not to like. everything was perfect!. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing to dislike.
