  It was a well run hotel,with excellent staff that cannot do enough for you, when we booked, we asked for a room on the ground level not to far from the restaurant and bar, and that is just what we had, eventhough there were only two people staying, we were still given a room with a single bed and a double at no extra charge,the views from the gard... what people say » ens were superb, and eventhough the hotel is on the Main Cork to Roslaire road you did not hear any traffic noise, we have now stayed there twice and - Each and every member of staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. My room was clean,warm, cosy and comfortable with an endless supply of hot water. It was serviced to a high standard.The food was delicious and the service excellent. Entertainment in the bar was a bonus - We had a great night with most attentive bar staff. I would not hesitate to recommend Rhu Glenn!

  There was nothing that i found bad about the Hotel. Everything was excellent and i really enjoyed my stay. I liked the rooms, they were very well designed and laid out.   I asked for a quite room which I got. The breakfast was fantastic, hot and great choice. The bar staff very friendly and reception very polite and helpful - Leisure centre was a big plus. All staff were friendly and helpful,particularly in the Leisure centre. Location in city centre wasexcellent.

  This is a very comfortable Hostel. Easy to find and close to all teh attractions. - I really liked Waterford overall, there is plenty to do and see. The hostel was pretty easy to find and they had a free parking in a private lot, but with only a few spaces.

  At the time of year that I stayed I thought it might be quite noisey, but I was surprised that it was not because some apartment ocupants can be noisey but the security made my stay a pleasent one.   I travel a lot and generally use letsbookhotel.com. I am rarely faced with scenario where I cannot fault a hotel or B&B. This place is immaculate from a hygiene point of view, the place is spotless, every inch clearly receives attention from the staff. The room was very comfortable and when I checked in I reported the shower head not working, ... what people say » it was broken and leaking. On arrival home from my evening out it was replaced with a brand new one. Breakfast was fresh, personally cooked and served - this was a change for me as we usually stay at hotels and I was blown away with diamond hill excellent value for money and the room one family room was bigger than most hotels family rooms and more comfortable and clean the cleanest room I have stayed for a long time this brings me to food breakfast was excellent top quality so yes we will come back to diamond hill recommend it to all
