I apprecicated the greeting we were given on arrival as we had had some difficulty and were quite exhausted. Hotel staff were very accommodating. The grounds were beautiful, the accommodations lovely and it was a very realxing visit. Excellent surroundings, a very pleasurable stay. We would have liked to stay longer but our timetable would not allow. Superb breakfast selection.The spa was excellent . The staff all over the hotel were so nice. The foofd in the bar was relly good.

Food just okay...would recommend bar food - excellent. Noise levels in the hotel were high; you could hear the person moving around the room immediately above you.Breakfast room little overcrowded and shortage in staff. Dinner menue should change from day to day. No extract fan in the bathroom. We ate breakfast in the bedroom but the plates were cold and the food cold by the time it arrived. The check out staff did not enquire about our stay. Cost. Some little things left it down - dirty cutlery both mornings at breakfast, pay for morning papers, can't get any food there after 10 pm. shower was poor. No Internet access in room, Food menus both in the bar and restaurant seemed to lack any real choice. Wedding on the night I stayed,perched in middle of guests,got no sleep,really needed a special break,turned out to be a nightmare,no apology given by staff when complained the following morning,lack of sleep ruined whole weekend there.

The restaurant spans 3 rooms, including 2 ornate drawing rooms in the original house and a garden conservatory. Breakfast is served each morning from 07:30 to 10:30, with extended hours over weekends and on bank holidays. Dinner is served from 18:30 until 21:30 each evening, and we strongly recommend that you book your table in advance either on arrival at hotel or when making your hotel reservation. Lunch is served every Sunday from 12:30 until 15:00.

To the right of reception lies the bar area, which comprises 3 stylish inter-linking rooms of the old house, including piano lounge, cocktail bar and resident's bar. The bar is open daily from 11:30 until 23:30. Food is served daily from 12 noon.

Travelling information

By Car (from Waterford):
- Follow the Dunmore Road from Waterford city and continue straight for approximately 3 miles (4.8 km).
- At the fork in the road, take the left turn signposted Passage East and then veer right under the railway bridge by Jack Meade's Pub.
- Continue straight for about 2 miles (3.2 km) and Faithlegg is on your left.

From Wexford:
- Follow the well-marked route to Waterford from Wexford town.
- Continue through New Ross along the N25 and onto Waterford, where you cross the bridge and turn left down the quays towards the Tower Hotel.
- Take the 1st left after the Tower Hotel (Dunmore Road) and follow directions as above.
