I found the staff to be friendly and helpful in all areas: from checking in as the first face you see to bar (joey) leisure centre, lady who did my room and room service were all what you would want to make stay relaxing. Swimmig Pool and Leisure facilities excellent Wireless internet short distance to waterford city good channels on TV. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, the quiet location was excellent.

Very good value for money. Bar was lovely, dinner was lovely and the staff on reception were lovely the minute we walked in the door. The girl we spoke to was actually one of the nicest receptionists I ever came across. Still cheerful that late on a Sunday evening!!. excellent leisure facilities with long opening hours and easy access from our room all staff we came in contact with were all very friendly and eager to help. Liked the surroundings and plenty of parking space. Welcoming atmosphere in the lobby upon entry. Would go back again.the pool and bar food. ease of access to city and surrounds; easy to find; range of activities available in hotel and nearby. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Nice hotel, enjoyed thw swimming pool. the bar food wasn't great and the beer was flat. should have had irish tea bags as barrys tea is quite close however this is only a minor issue as everything else was excellent. Was very disappointed with the breakfast. Also for the size of the room the bed was very small. We did not sleep very much as there was children running amuck in thehallways till after one in the morning. The night-porter was verygood in trying to quite them down as we suspected the parents weredown in the bar.We felt that the furnishing in the room could be upgraded. Chairs in the dining room have seen better days. Would have like room service or access to food as I arrived late and couldn't get any.dining room soft chairs needed recovering. Was on room only rate, had problems getting breakfast. Ended up eating in a restaurant down the road.I booked 3 nights in offefer for 127 E, it comes out as 171E. There was a Debs Ball on which made sleeping difficult.No food available after nine pm. Only one complaint there was a christmas party on in the hotel the night we stayed which made sleeping impossible with the music. I would check this out in the future as our room must have been directly above the function room.
