This was my second stay at Rivermere Harmony Inn. Great price, comfortable, clean, airy and spacious room. Wonderful shower. The Inn is close enough to both Killarney Town, the National Park, and the bus/train station, only 15-20 minutes walk away. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. At check-in, I asked if I could add an extra night to the booking. Despite the very busy week they were able to add the extra night. Breakfast room was pleasant and breakfast itself was very good. all reviews » I was looking for something near the town which I could walk to and the Rivermere was perfect. Only a ten minute walk to town and another ten minutes in the other direction to the National Park. The price was very affordable and if you needed help in any way someone was there to help you. The breakfast I had every morning was excellent and there was plenty of it. I love my tea and the staff put extra in my room whenever needed. The staff could not have been more helpful. After checking out and then completing the ROK charity cycle, the staff arranged for us to shower and change in a spare room before we travelled home, no charge. Would definitely recommend the Harmony Inn. I liked the staff they were very friendly and accommodating to our specific requests, the entrance was warm, cosy and inviting and the room was clean, fresh and well stocked. Overall a nice place to stay and would definately go stay again. The Inn was only a 10 minute walk to town and convenient for being a base to travel the Ring of Killarney and Dingle Peninsula. The room had a wonderful view of the hills and was lovely and spacious. Breakfast was fantastic!. Everyone was warm and inviting and very helpful. Our room was large and comfortable. The B&B is situated walking distance to the town, which we enjoyed being close, but not in the noisy town. Everything was great!. The unexpected bonus at Rivermere was the huge tub; a neck-deep soak was just the ticket after long hikes. Terrific breakfast too! A pub right across the road with nightly music was truly convenient. This place ticked all the boxes for me particularly as it was pet friendly also. I was able to bring my dog and everything worked out perfectly. I will be back for another visit. It was a lovely place and the staff were lovely. The location was good and the service was brilliant. I would definitely stay again I like how they make use of the rain water!. A bit of noise early one morning but this was the fault of some guests themselves who were slamming doors and talking loudly outside my room. I really can't think of anything I did not like. There was nothing we didn't like.Our room backed up to the river and when we opened the window on that side of the building a sewer smell wafted in. . Nothing comes to mind, it was very happy with all services. It is not a dislike but maybe have signs for guests if they are happy to reuse their towels, for example if clean towels wanted place the used towels on the floor, another way to be Eco!! Only a thought. I have no negatives. Late breakfast time 8-10. Appreciate that this is a B&B but a 7am start would be a more convenient option - especially for business people and hikers etc. Curtains on the windows let in lots of light so we ended up putting blankets over them so that our young kids wouldn't wake up really early. Beds were very firm. Heating came on automatically early in the morning, room became very stuffy. only one Chanel on tv and no remote.we stayed in room 100. No small shampoo. curtains on windows wouldnt close properly - lack of privacy and light incoming in the morning. Accommodation is looking tired. The decor is a bit jaded. no remote control for the tv. Bedrooom very basic. Could have had two bedside lights rather than one. TV stated on imformation that it was cable but we were only able to get two channels. would have been nice to have at less on soft comfortable chair in room. General maintance around outside grounds very poor and untidy. Room on the front suffered from traffic noise (there were a lot of boy racers the weekend we were there). Maybe rooms at the back are quieter. The rooms were dirty (there were make up stains on the linen). There were no staff present and the "guesthouse" was not friendly. The overall place was dirty with spiders hanging down from the lights in the reception as you walked in. No spare linen in the room and one towel per person (shower and regular washing). The room was extremely basic. Would not stay again. not lifts narrow space. Pretty Spartan. bed linen was dated and worn, my letsbookhotel.com reservation was lost, i had to wait 30 minutes to get a room as the reshuffled other guests, 10pm a member of staff was hammering on my door, apparently checking keys, overall my firdt impression of the harmony Inn was poor. one particular staff member was exstremely rude towards ourselves and two other guests. breakfast was from 8 to 10 and refused to serve breakfast at 10.05. in the end she grudgly did serve us. the wfi did not work in the rooms the tea and coffee facilities were not refilled after the first day. No tv remote control; Never any staff around to ask or help with problems. t breakfast had to lay table ourself. When leaving they did not want to give a invoice to say I had paid { with cash ) and after previous problems Iwanted to have proof of payment so I had to insist and wait while they fetched somebody that could do this. Very basic hotel with very little character. TV didn't work and wi-fi in rooms was weak! Staff were not that friendly. One point I would like to make is that the cleaner left our room door wide open! It was lucky that we came back to the hotel early that day! There are lots hotels and B&Bs in that street, so I think this hotel should consider reviewing its customer service and maybe give the hotel a bit of a makeover!. Beds very poor Accomodation is dated. Not very clean, specially the bathroom. Bed filthy! Floor dirty shower curtain filthy and MUSTY!!! really bad smell! Wifi only at the reception, NO in bedrooms! Breakfast not good, not bad... i didnt like the room because i had to live out of my bag for the 3 days that i was there and there was 3 of us and we had 1 towel and 1 pillow each. Smell of cigarettes off all the towels we asked for at reception.room was dirty. Staff were not friendly. Never asked us did we enjoy our stay or anything.just said 65 euro. No please or thank you.
