The staff was super nice and the breakfast was outstanding. Killarney is a really charming town with great night-life. The National park is wonderful - huge, free, with many great things to see (abbey ruins, Muckcross House) in addition to the beautiful nature: lakes, waterfall, gorgeous trees, etc. The staff were really friendly and we got a lovely welcome. The B&B was very clean and comfortable. Only a 10 min walk from Killarney town. We also got a fantastic breakfast. Overall I would defiantly stay there again. Value for Money.
all reviews » You get what u pay for. Which is fair enough you can't expect to stay in a 5 star place without paying for it. 3 star is fine with me for a 3 star price. Great Value for money would definitely suggest it. The staff was amazing, truly wonderful. Alana and the other women were very helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious and bright. The breakfast was also very nice. I went there with group of my friends and we all agree that for 30 pp with breakfast it excellent place. People very nice and everything was great. Everything was buttoned the last button. Easy can say that deserves a black belt in categories B & B. Good breakfast cooked fresh. Good sized room, friendly staff. location, quick check and early check in. food very good beds very comfortable. good parking ,goodbreakfasts. The location to an adjacent hotel where a family wedding was being held. The reception person was very pleasant and helpful. GOOD LOCATION, GOOD BREAKFAST, NICE SIZE ROOM, HOT WATER ALL DAY. Food was good nice people around the area. Proximity to restaurants and shopping. Good value for money. The wifi connection at the B&B was not good - inconsistent at best and non-existent in some rooms and at some times. outside could do with being painted. better television could only get two channels. One of the rooms had a strong damp smell. One member of the staff was clearly an unhappy person, she was unhelpful and unfriendly. NEEDS TO BE UPDATED - VERY GRUBBY - COULD BENEFIT FROM A PAINT JOB, NEW CURTAINS & BED LINEN. THIS GUEST HOUSE COULD BE LOVELY IF THE DECOR WAS UPDATED AND THE OUTSIDE PAINTED - HAS GREAT POTENTIAL. TV not working properly hair dryer not working very poor wi-fi When we asked about the TV we were told there was only one channel that was sky news. Property in great need of renovation, very warm for sleeping. Difficult to find (I had to knock on doors) Its a B&B not a hotel. Ten minute walk to town. Room smelled of damp. Small tv only one channel a fuzzy sky news. Only saw staff at check in & out and breakfast. 20 people fill small dining area at breakfast. Car park awkward as on junction and no yellow box. For €30 p.n. there are a choice of B&Bs nearer town. Not sure I would go back.
