We liked the fact that it was near all the places that we had planned to visit whilst staying in the hotel and also that we were made to feel very welcome from the time we arrived to the time we left. Although a brief visit, a friendly and informative receptionist gave complete attention; the room, which was located at the rear, was very quiet and comfortable. Excellent value for money.

This guesthouse is perfectly priced for both its facilities and location. It looks directly over St. Stephen's Green and the premium shopping district in Dublin City and yet is not overly noisy nor pretentious. The rooms are cosy and clean and the breakfast was lovely. The staff park your car for you and bring it back whenever you choose.The room (409) in the rear of the hotel overlooking the garden was very specious and the bathroom was excellent. It was quiet which is so important being on the busy Green. The two staff members at reception during the day were both personable and helpful and efficient to boot. The guesthouse is in a good location, not too far away from the centre about 5-10 minutes walk. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was also included in the rate which was nice and had a good selection.The location was wonderful. The rooms at the back of the hotel are modern, very comfortable and very quiet and open out onto a lovely landscaped area. Heating was turned off and windows open when we arrived,resulting in very cold room. Had to contact staff to turn on heating and close window as we could not do either ourselves.would have been nice to have a restaurant for evening meal as I was on business and alone. poor breakfast, no bar or drinks available. Breakfast was terrible. A couple of minor gripes do apply, however. My room was near the stairs and there was a good deal of noise when people crashed up and down these. In addition, the dining room, well pleasant in its way, is in the basement and rather gloomy.Only Irish breakfast ... but you want to know Ireland, don't you?. coffee. Room a little 'tired' and in need of redecoration. For the standard of hotel/guesthouse the rear garden was in need of alittle tlc. The room was extremely small for a twin making the price seem a bit expensive. The velux windows were very high up and difficult to open considering I'm above average height and the blinds were finicky. irish breakfast overdone. I was only there for one night, so not long enough to judge. Check-in and out was lengthy.The older rooms facing St Stephens Green have some traffic noise. Old building shows some wear and tear. street noise.
