The Russell Court Hotel is just off St. Stephen's Green in Dublin city centre. The Georgian-style hotel has great nightlife and individually designed rooms with period furnishings and antiques. The hotel features some of the Dublin’s hottest nightlife. Dicey's Garden is extremely popular with visitors and locals. Russell Court Hotel hosts Krystle and Bojangles nightclubs. Krystle was winner of Best Nightclub in Ireland in 2007, 2008 and 2009. The Russell Court is a hotel for those who like to party with its bars and nightclubs open 7 days a week. Because of this all rooms can be affected by noise.

Loved the room. (Room 202). When you went in the room door there was a living room area with 2 arm chairs, coffee table, fire place, TV, and an eating table with 2 chairs. Off that room was a small kitchen - the basics tea/coffee and ample storage. Next room was the bedroom. This was quite big with a very big comfy bed. Then off that was the bathroom. Very bright and clean with a very deep bath. Loads of hot water. I liked the fact the room was very warm as it was -1 outside. I didn't avail o.
all reviews » Excellent value. I was worried about all the reports on noise, but it didn't bother me at all. It is fairly clear that it is going to be noisy anyway. Anyone complaining about this has been warned by other reviews and by the hotel's own website. It is ideal for anyone on a budget. Drinks were 2.50 at the bar and a large selection of meals from 6euro. If you prefer to be part of the party this place is great for you. The room rate which included a lovely fresh Irish Breakfast. The proximity to Grafton Street shopping area. The staff were also helpful and on the Sunday afternoon/night we stayed there was a special promotion of all Pints & Bottles @ 2 Euro each including a late bar and live dj for the night, fantastic deal and the Bar was hopping all night long, great atmosphere there. After the company I booked a other hotel in Dublin went bankrupet I had to find a new accomodation in Dublin directly. The Russel Court Hotel was the last one to have accomodation and I was so lucky with this booking. I stayed in "The cottage" and was more than pleased with the whole facility. The staff was more than friendly and everything was just as you could wish for. -Location was brilliant, we were right at the top of Grafton St and had St Stephen Green on our doorstep -Was really glad I hadn't judged the placed based on other reviews -Brilliant night life on your doorstep -Food served late at night -Smoking in room if needed but the rooms didn't smell of previous smokers -Fridge and hairdryer in room also and room was gorgeous. First of all the price per room including breakfast for two of us was incredible value for 30 euro. The room we had was massive and had a four poster bed, large spacious bathroom, tv & Tea Coffee facilities. The room was extremley clean and was nice and warm. The Full Irish Breakfast was so tasty and the staff were very attentive and polite. I was pleased with everything in The Russell Court Hotel. The receptionist on check in was cheerful and helpful, the room was warm and spacious, the bed was comfortable, the sheets were white and crisp and the bathroom was large with loads of hot water and soft white towels. The breakfast was adequate and the serving staff were efficient. I liked that it was so central. we had also gone to diceys niteclub so being able to go straight up after was brilliant. The staff were friendly, and accommodating when we asked for a third room key, which meant them having to change all our keys and the code for the door. Good value for money. V. good central location for my purposes. They went to a lot of trouble to keep things clean and smart. Bathroom seemed newly fitted. Organisation was professional and quite customer-friendly. I thought the location of this hotel was great, just a short walk from Dublin City Centre and Stephen's Green. Good location, but will be ready to loud music from club of the hotel which was in a cellar. Hotel I recommend to troupes of friends which come to have a rest and hang out in Dublin. Due to the own night club it was kind of loud during the night but with earplugs it was ok. -Carpet on stairs very slippery, sporting a very purple bruise from falling down the stairs -Didnt get to try breakfast as we forgot to put room service card out and when we phoned down they wouldn't serve it up to our room - I would agree with another reviewer that this Hotel could be so much more with a bit of investment as there were some broken utilities in our room like the sink, wall and windows. The noise, but we eventually got to sleep. The only thing that lets this hotel down would have to be the carpets on the stairs and landings. They are very threadbare ;(. Nothing. I don't have one bad word to say about this hotel. Although I live in Dublin, I'll be back!. I didn't like the fact that we had to leave a €50 deposit at the front desk on arrival. I don't mind leaving a deposit, but we had no pre warning of this, and it was money i wasnt expecting not to have for my night out. The room was clean all i was happy with the room in general but the next morning the heating was on full blast and the windows wouldnt open. we were all way too hot. There is a very successful disco and nightclub which is noisy but they gave us a room on the top floor. A new young male member of staff did not know whether our room was an upgrade or now, and told us that our luggage had been transported upstairs when that was not the case. We had to go back down for it when we arrived in our room and found that it was not there. You should know that the Irish socket differs from the European one. And on the reception there is no adapter for the plug!!! Be aware of it, this causes problems at first night of stay when all your gudgets need to be charged(( But almost in every shop you can buy it, costs at about 3 euro. N/A. The noise from the bars can be a bit too much, and everyone getting out and shouting just outside the window woke us up.. Safety of windows in room..no safety catches...yet opened wide. Didn't effect us but would have worried if staying with children. The noise from the clubs below was a little loud at night!. Nothing. Room was very warm and no air con. We had breakfast delivered to our room. It was very disappointing. They forgot the coffee, the teaspoons, saucer, sugar, brown bread... When we checked in we asked to transfer our last breakfast (because our departure was early morning) at our first day but manager said no without reason. Although there are a lot of clubs/bars around it would have been nice to have the option of a residents bar, just to get away from the maddening crowd, we ended up taking our drinks to our room so that we could chat. No free entry into nightclub for residents. The lock on our door had been broken at some point and it was difficult to get the door to lock properly. can't say i had any dislikes. whats not to like?;-). electronics and tv's in the rooms were a little old and outdated. only wifi in the lobby so had to leave my room which was annoying to use the internet and sit in the lobby, while the club played loud music.. Ok the hotel is a little tired and could do with a total revamp. There is noise but every dog on the street booking this hotel is aware of that so i dont think this is a negative its a choice you make when you stay here. There are night clubs downstairs but I was made aware of this in description of hotel and the noise was not a problem for me. Location of our room (301) directly opposite a very noisy nightcub facility within the complex . Every night until 3.00am required to use ear plugs that partially worked and extremely uncomfortable. Nothing. If I was staying a longer time would like a bigger brighter room. Only complaint would be water pressure in shower, However I know where ever you go in Dublin the water pressure is very poor. No plug in the bathroom sink was a bit awkward and the local mass times for RC University Church were incorrect. The nightclub !!! there was no mention of the nightclub anywhere. It was very loud. Fortunately we were so wrecked we slept through it but others may not !!!. Nothing could prepare you for the noise of the nightclub. I began my stay in amazing room on first floor. I may as well have been in the night club. Sleep was impossible. Second night on top floor much better. Sound further away and possible to sleep through it. Only recommend to clubbers. Pity!. Extremely noisy. Bring ear-plugs, and don't say we didn't warn you :). The hotel ask for a €50 deposit on check in and this is not advertised anywhere during the booking process so I arrived completely unprepared for it. Also the lack of free wi-fi in the rooms was a drawback. The staff weren't very professional - the lady on reception was particularly rude. They really need to spend a little upgrading the very tired decor in the rooms. It was fine for one night and clean but with a little bit of attention it could feel much less "budget accommodation". shower was dated n cudnt get it warm, room a bit too hot, wifi no work. Nothing. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now. the first two times we got the same room and it was beutiful and comfortable but the third time we got a different room . the smoking area of a night club must have been right outside our window. it was so noisy. Has a noisy night club, as does the hotel next door, but ear plugs are provided!. Rooms a little dated. No bath.
