The hotel was brilliantly located for going to the Gaiety Theatre and St Stephens Green,15 - 20 mins walk to Grafton street which was a nice walk as we had brill weather.Room and bed was really clean and cleaned each day, we were only booked in room only (breakfast could be purchased at 13 euros each) but we eat breakfast in O'Briens across the road(much cheaper). Staff were really plesant although we only used the hotel for a base. If we were going back to dublin we would definetely stay again.
all reviews » The room was fantastic with an excellent power shower. Swimming pool, saunas and jacuzzi were brilliant. I would definately stay at this hotel again. Close enough to have a flat 10 minute walk to temple bar area or short bus ride (Stop is outside the hotel) but just far enough away to not be disturbed at night. Very quiet, good breakfast.Everything clean, nicely decorated, well attended, hotel bkfst was excellent and plentiful- predictable. The staff was very helpful in helping me to plan my day trips, with their takes on the different cities, as well as helping me with train schedules. They even printed out theatre info for me and gave me restaurant recommendations. The location of the hotel was fab it was just up the street from grafton street and it was great value for where it was, the hotel was also beautiful and the bar beside the hotel the bleeding horse was a good spot as well, there was also a lot of bars and food places on Camden Street as well for you to take your pick from. Location was great. Iveraugh Restaurant was superb. The staff at reception were well-informed and very polite. The room was a good size and the bathroom was lovely. And free parking - amazing!. Great leisure facilities for gettin rid of yer hangover! Ideal location for meetin irish locals rather than in temple bar where its all tourists. Gr8 spot for gettin to bars and clubs. The gym could have opened earlier too.Bar shut at 4am haha !. Just a little far out of the main part of the town centre to make it a 'easy' walk. nothing of real importance. Parking appeared to be a little limited.No reasonable smoking area. The hotel's water supply failed on the second morning of our stay, but these things are unforseen and unavoidable.no lovely hotel. Staff in restaurant for breakfast could be more friendly. very very angry at the building works that went on on the monday morning that woke us up at 8am and sounded like they were in our room. we were very tired and as you can imagine as we came away to relax it ruined our second night. The hotel did give us a small amount on money back for this inconvenience. The lighting in our room was poor ,no bedside lights and in the bathroom a bit gloomy,not good for putting on makeup!. Some of the food at breakfast (mushrooms in particular) had not been kept hot enough(understandable at end of service but this was only 9am! Breakfast very good though-just could have been hotter!. The residence bar closed very early. We asked for a wake up call on two of the three nights, but they never came!! Fortunately, we did not overlay. ;-).

Travelling information

From Dublin International Airport
On leaving the main terminal building, take the main exit, which will bring you to a roundabout. Take the exit signposted m1 City Centre. Drive along the motorway for approximately 5 miles. The motorway will then join the road which will bring you onto Drumcondra Road. Continue straight ahead, and this road will bring you to Dorset Street. Turn left at the Auld Triangle Pub onto Gardiner Street. Drive all the way down until you come to the Irish Financial Services Centre (A.I.b) on the left hand side. After the traffic lights there is a bridge directly in front of you, cross over and turn right. Follow up as far as O'Connell Bridge and turn left onto D'Olier Street. Trinity College is now directly ahead. The road now swings to the left, and then right leading to Dame Street. On Dame Street, take the road for Rathmines, left onto South Great George's Street which in turn becomes Aungier Street and finally Camden Street. Turn into the right hand lane and turn into the hotel courtyard or alternatively into the underground car park (2nd right from Dun Laoghaire Ferry Terminal).

Upon leaving the ferry terminal,
turn right onto Crofton Road (n3). Follow this road onto Rock Road (r113), which in turn will bring you out onto Merrion Road. Continue along Merrion Road passing by the Royal Dublin Society Building (RDS) on the left. Turn left in the direction of the city centre. This is Pembroke Street which leads into Lower Baggot Street. At the end of Lower Baggot Street, turn left and follow the Grand Canal Road. At the 3rd bridge, turn right onto Richmond Street South. Drive down this street to the main traffic lights (one way system, 3 lanes). The Camden Court Hotel, is just ahead of you on the right. Make sure you are in the right hand lane, turn right past the hotel and 'The Bleeding Horse' pub and into the hotel courtyard or underground car park.
