  Rooms were spacious clean and very comfortable. Staff were all very polite and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. All in all great value for money - The staff was absolutely fantastic in every area and did their up most to assist us.

  The hotel staff were excellent throughout our stay and we were able to check in early, before 12, into a large spacious room. The food quality was very good as were the prices. The hotel is only a short walk from the main shopping street in Cork and the surrounding area was quiet. There are better hotels in Cork, but for a night out without pricey taxis etc you will be hard beat to find better than this place.

  I had a very enjoyable experience on a weekend in Cork with my friends. We found the Ashley Hotel to be a great spot to stay right in the centre, close to all the best, high-street shops. My room was nice, very clean and bright, had a comfortable double bed, although I booked a single room for myself. Hotel's car park is a great advantage. I was quite impressed by this because in my past experience all I received was a rude look and reminder of the check-in time.   We had a clean, spacious and comfortable room with a great shower. Breakfast is good, hot food, coffee and juice. The location is not too far from town - it takes about 20 minutes to walk or you can jump on the bus that stops out the front and runs up the main street of Cork. This is a good choice considering how expensive some of the places right in town are. We really liked Cork and definitely got - Almost everything! The location is perfect, the owners are decent, lovely, kind and very helpful. Couldn't ask for a better host. The value for our money in the room we got was excellent. The breakfast is everything we wanted plus it's served with a smile from the owners. How can you not have an enjoyable stay in such a place not too mention they got free WiFi. I will recommend the place to our friends anytime. Will go back there if we get a chance.

  Eileen and Michael were welcoming from the first moment we walked through the door. Eileen made afternoon tea for us . The breakfasts were superb. The room we had was #4 and was beautifully decorated. Michael gave us a lift to the bus staion when we left and there was a bus stop just acrossw the street, the #202. Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast - Our host Eileen was a real gem - she made sure we had everything we needed and even offered to drop us off in the city (not sure if this is usual or not!). She supplied us with a full buffet breakfast in a beautiful dining room overlooking a garden, a lovely way to start the day. Blackrock is not right in the centre of Cork but the city is easily accessible by car (10 mins drive) or by bus - there is a bus stop right outside the accommodation.

  The service was unbelievable - from the moment you step into the BandB you are made to feel so welcome. The rooms are beyond comfortable and include lots of little touches such as heaters in the bathrooms and pillow-top mattresses on the bed. The beds were wonderfully comfortable (again one would expect to pay more!) and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful.
