The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I arrived slightly early for check-in and was received with apologies because the room wasn't quite ready and offered coffee while I waited. I was quite impressed by this because in my past experience all I received was a rude look and reminder of the check-in time. I was very impressed with everything and would absolutely stay here again!. the decoration & design of the guest house , great location, The owner is quiet Charismatic & friendly, The room was big enough & warm, really near from the center ( less than 8 min walk) the Breakfast was great (the staff manage to provide me some gluten & lactose free breakfast because of my strict diet).

We were travelling to Kinsale later in the day after checking out and the hotel kept our luggage for us and arranged a taxi. They gave us a cup of tea on our return too, very hospitable to the end. The owner was really nice and kind. We had a warm welcome. The lodge was clean, the room decorated with taste. Everything was elegant and beautiful. The breakfast was full, we had everything we could want. The location : not in the center of Cork but not so far, 15/20 minutes by foot. Booked friends visiting from London for a wedding in UCC into Rose Lodge. They found rooms comfortable, were taken care of very well by staff and had a nice breakfast (great coffee) in the funky dining room the next morning. Will be recommending to friends on their next visit. Staff could not do enough for you, and were really lovely. The breakfast was very good The cost of the breakfast, which was extra on top of the room, was taken off my bill without me requesting this, because of the party noise. A lovely and friendly welcome. Tea and biscuits on arrival, I arrived an hour early and a room was made available immediately. Lovely and clean with good quality sheets and towels and a nice stroll to town. Excellent. Very friendly staff, ready to help you with every problem you may have. Guest house is located near city center but little bit far from main bus station (25 minutes walk). Room was clean with newly renovated bathroom. Rose lodge was very comfortable and clean and in a great location. Breakfast is lovely too. Lee, who looked after the guesthouse, was really nice and helpful. Looking forward to staying there the next time in Cork :). when I arrived they made me very welcome . all the staff were friendly and the room and shower was spot on .the breakfast was also very good as you can imagine .just a 10 minute walk into town .10 out of 10 . the welcome was amazing, we were made to feel at home, offered bottled water and shown to our room when it was ready. wifi was good. the location is handy for exploring cork city. bed were very comfortable. It certainly seemed less cosy than mine, Bit embarrising for me. Over the weekend you can hear noise from the local pub. When the taxi drew up I felt a bit uneasy as the outside of the building looked old and not attractive. Some bedroom en-suites where very small. Stairs and bedroom flooring was a little bit squeaky and noisy. n/a. Everything was brilliant. I hate to pick fault with a place where the staff were so nice and the room was lovely but the breakfast wasnt the best. Off-street parking is ver tight. Property is very difficult to find. you can hear people walking up and down the steps in the morning.sound isolation is poor. People slamming doors, but then again you get that In alot of hotels. It was all good. Directions were a little difficult to follow. It was all good. Breakfast was fairly limited and a little over priced for what was provided. nothing. Can't think of anything i didnt like!. bedroom a bit old, tv not properly working but they got wifi, so, you can watch tv on your tablet. It was a bit expensive and the room was small, but best I could find in Cork city. Nothing really, car park a bit tight but there was nothing they could do about that. Nothingreally.
