the very friendly service the girl from lithuania is an absolute sweetheart running the place, and also the girl checking us out on the day we left was very very nice , i also very much liked the decor sort of shabby chic old fashioned french very nice and homely i must say. the breakfast was cheap and delicious indeed you can have a full irish and also cerials ,toast ,yogurts cheese and other breakfast goodies great and really good service.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the location was superb, just at the gates to ucc where my business was located. I will be back. The girl running the B&B was delightful, and very helpful throughout. The room was very good and overall great value for money. The location was ideal for walking distance to most places in Cork City. A very pleasant stay all round!. Ideal location, not at the heart of the city but very close to most of the attractions, especially if you are going to UCC campus. Delicious breakfast and lovely people working there, very helpful. The breakfast was very good and best i've ate from a B&B. The staff were very friendly and professional. I would book there again as I could not fault the staff and how we were treated. :) :). The B&B is right next to the river and a close walk to UCC as well as to the city centre. It is clean and the manager is really friendly and welcoming. The parking was very tight and the outside of building was very outdated looking. It took us hours to find it. There are literaly no street numbers on any of the houses on Cork, so there is absolutely no point giving the address in the website. Better indicate the location, E.G. on the Western Road right next to the main gates of the University campus. The room is too small. We are two small girls... Poor wifi signal in the top room where we stayed. Shower-over-bath not great, shower head kept pointing downwards and wouldn't stay up. Poor soundproofing. The parking is quite poor, only 4 car park. The B&B was fully booked and I've been forced to park somewhere else. Too many cars parked in the front garden and gateway. Impossible for a person with a buggy, or for a stout person to fit between the cars. I had to squeeze into the hedge, and I'm slim! Also, no chair in the bedroom. Nowhere to sit down and take off one's shoes. If you want your guests to sit on the bed then the mattress will soon be broken. You could buy three nice chairs for the price of a suitable new mattress. House is old fashioned but comfortable. Weather very hot so room was warmer than expected but temp was higher than normal so can't complain. Parking was a hassle. Mattresses were not the most comfortable. Parking was rather awkward and cramped. The WiFi was not in service, but that was said to be the result of road construction interruption, and it was of only minor inconvenience to us. Parking was a bit tight. The terrace was in reconstruction. (but it was fine, because the weather was cold). We didnt have the breakfast, because 7 euro was quiete expensive for us. The only bad thing I'll is the toilet and shower was to small and gramped. Not clear exactly where the B&B is located. We passed it and had to detour to get back to it. small size of room. Single roon on the smallish side,but practical. The shower was impossible to set to an acceptable temperature. One of the beds in the twin room (mine after a coin toss!) was just below the roof wall making me have to mind it thus being a bit less comfortable. Our rooms were not clean enough and all the furniture was too old. Breakfast (waffled appeared coming out of a box). Very small parking area, but then was better than paying for parking. 15 minute walk to city centre, flat walking but may be difficult for some. An old property that needs some TLC and cleaning. The images shown did not reflect the rooms. Bed linen was marked/stained. Unfortunately we would not stay at this accomodation again. It took us a whole hour to find and two passengers to guide the car into the parking space. Cleaning in bedroom a bit suspect. Heating was poor. Got into bed to stay warm. Only two TV channels. The facility needs maintenance! It was half the price, but only one third of the value of a nicer B&B across the street. The parking was very difficult. car park a bit cramped, cant be helped I guess. no check in until 1400 having to pay extra for breakfast, c`mon people, opt out yes, opt in NO. Very small room. Attic shape ceiling is a problem. Can't find the place on GPS as there is not a street number. small door into bathroom from room. no chair or bedside cupord in room ,there was room. Tv.
