What people say
Annabel was super nice and friendly and very helpful. She has a delightful personality and looked after any question or request quickly and with a smile. ( even though I arrived travel weary and a bit cranky)
The hotel was perfectly situated and had a very charming decor that put you in the mood for a French holiday. (Don't worry if you do not speak French, she makes you feel comfortable and her English is excellent)
Nice large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub (bonus). all reviews »
・The room and hotel have romantic atmosphere.
・Accessible location (easy to go anywhere in Old Town)
・Staff were very friendly and helpful. They told us must-see places when we checked in.
・There is a small hill near the hotel and the view from this hill is one of the best.
・Breakfast is included.
・We did have a really nice stay with a bathtub.
We liked the convenience of being right in the old city and within walking distance to everything.
Very convenient to the Old Town of Quebec. Staff was very helpful with good personality.
The perfect location, affordable prices, helpfull staff.
Location is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful.
In the old part of Quebec city - our favorite area.
Our room was ready early.
So close to Old Quebec.
location, breakfast.
Location. staff, location of the hotel (close to every touristic places).
location, location, safe area.everything is walking distances.could be accessed by bus.breakfast is sufficient, very good coffee, touristy, staff quick to help.lots to see and enjoy for free.
Loved the location! This is such a darling Old City. Charming place on
the surface.
The hotel was well located and quiet.
We chose Hotel du Parc because of the location and seemingly budget
pricing. During our past 10 visits to this great city, we had stayed in
several other hotels just doors away.
Location very good.
location.
Location (next to Frontenac castle and good restaurants).
Location was pretty good.
There a quite a few stairs which was not good for our health issues but fine for others, quite charming actually.
The queen room was very small (European size) and the 4 poster metal bed frame was nice but my husband walked into it every time he opened the door ;) .
No ironing board or iron. Booking wasn't right initially, we had requested two beds, but reservation with Booking was not reflected properly. Booking's fault, not the hotels. Hotel fixed it for us!.
Maybe fridge at a room would be helpful.
Rooms are very small but at this price it was kind of expected.
Rooms are VERY small as are bathrooms. They move you from three different hotels, so you do not necessarily get the one you booked online.
There was no parking, and no directions to parking provided.
Construction on the street below.
No fridge.
They fill their rooms with those checking in first and put us in an
older bldg next door, on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was poor. Only had
apples, couple of kinds of bread, butter and jams, coffee, tea and for
only a couple of hours. Floor in room could have been cleaner, and the
blinds were missing slats to reduce privacy. the rooms are very small, the bathrooms as well, there is no desk in the room or rooms to put the luggage.
room on 3rd floor,of course no elevator, has musty smell, very small for 2 people.crowded breakfast area .it's old part of quebec so what do you expect.expensive restaurants but sandwich areas/market and convenience stores available too.
The a/c that was supposed to be in our room did not work. The room
did not have a screen so we had to keep the window closed against the
mosquitos. We roasted. The worst night sleep! This was the loveliest
city and the worst night sleep of a 5 week family road trip. I tried to
get 2 more sets of towels (only 2 in the room for a family of 4) and
could not find a soul to get more from. Breakfast is toast or a
croissant and coffee or juice. No fruit, no yogurts.
This hotel is just not up to the "norm" of what we have
experienced in past visits to similar looking accommodations. We
couldn't wait to check out.
our accommodation was dreadful we were not on the main hotel but next door the place needed a lot of work wood around windows and doors broken no wardrobe sink next to bed the smallest bathroom I have seen. One chair in reception so my husband sat on the stairs! I am sure there is much better accommodation in this area. We would return to Quebec but never to this hotel.
air conditioning was poor, internet was sporadic, staff ignored many of our requests.
everything else from staff to room ! Very expensive for a bad service.
No elevator to the fourth floor and no air conditioning in room and the entire hotel. Very poor breakfast, and dirt on the floor in room.
